I’ve always enjoyed almost everything at Little Georgia except for the shawarma. Every time I ordered it in the past, the taste was unfortunately disappointing, so I stopped ordering it for a while. Today I decided to give it another try, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was the first time I had such a juicy and delicious shawarma — perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. Their improved shawarma has now become my favorite. I’m really happy to see the improvement and will definitely be ordering it many more times. Thank you to the friendly and always smiling staff. We had khachapuri Megrelian style. Really liked it — tasty and filling. The beach is nearby, so you can take a walk and have a snack in the fresh air. And of course, we’ll come back again.

Unfortunately, wasn’t satisfied today with their shawarma. Normally, they put nice white sauce, but today shawarma was full of sweet ketchup. Didn’t expect that change. Price increased to $15 for the large one.

This shawarma was seriously delicious. Super juicy, full of flavor, and the flatbread had a nice crispy grill. Fresh veggies, tender meat — nothing dry or boring. Just really tasty and satisfying, especially with that beach view.

This is the best khachapuri and shawarma in the area, 100%! The dough is perfect, the filling is juicy, and the spices in the shawarma are simply divine. The only downside is that you can’t dine inside—it’s takeout only. But the taste more than makes up for it.

This is the best Shawarma in New York.
If you want ton of delicious chicken with vegetables in lavash this is a best choice! The portion is huge compared to the other places and the price is perfect, thinking that never tried that amount of food for that price before.

An absolutley iconic restraint in Brighton Beach. This place has seen here for years, serves excellent food, and is a great restaurant. 9/10. Includes outdoor seating with umbrellas (in the summertime).

If you think of having something other than a hot dog at the beach try a khachpuri. This Georgian cheese turnover has a crisp flaky crust filled with a briny sulguni (a Georgian cheese similar to mozzarella).
This is strictly a takeout establishment so a short walk to the boardwalk is in order enjoy your meal. Keep in mind this place isn’t open 24 hours so if you take “The Midnight Train to Georgia” and come here you might find this bakery closed.

This little market stand is not to be missed if visiting Brighton Beach! It serves some of the best kachapuri imeruli for $12 in to-go pizza boxes and they churn out every few minutes and are super hot, fresh, cheesy and delicious. The store just has some quick to-go items and doesn’t offer seating, but this is great to bring to the beach to enjoy with your friends and also keeps well for several days and will be good as fresh when you pop into the oven.
