I got ganked on my tater tots because I didn’t think to look in the bag before I bounced. However, everything else was on point. I usually make a visit here when I’m in OK they’re usually a good spot for some Quik grub especially if you’re sick of Love’s food.

Drove to Valiant Sonic instead of Hugo for a change. I’m on a fixed income (ss), so only treat myself once a month. Ordered double cheeseburger with no mayonnaise or ketchup, want mustard. Asked again because he repeated order as dry. Verified it only had mustard and trimmings. Car hop very friendly and courteous. Drive back home to eat and no mustard but there is plenty of mayonnaise. At least no ketchup or I would have drove back and made a scene. The part that pisses me off most is I think they were laughing about it while cooking as I could see them inside, can’t be sure of that but can damn sure be sure they won’t be getting my business again, I’ll take my business to Hugo!

The food was terrible. I got two kids meals (only needed one but took both) one with chicken and one with a burger with tots which didn’t seem cooked well. The chicken was overcooked or old and the burger did not taste good at all. There was a hair in one of the drinks but the server seemed nice.

I gave them 2 starts because the food isn’t awful. When you get your order right, it’s not bad. However, I only get my order quickly and correct once every 10 times we go. This last time really sent me to do this review unfortunately. I ordered at 7:17, placed an order with a burger, a coney, and a couple ice creams. We got to sonic around 7:25, checked in with my friend who also ordered, and waited. My friend got her order promptly, we asked the bellhop for a drink carrier and told her she could bring it when my order came out to save her a trip. We waited until 7:50 to ask where my order was again because they were busy. The person on the speaker said I never checked in. When we finally got my order, one ice cream was melted, one was missing, and we asked for the melted ice cream to be remade and my ice cream to be brought out. We waited another 15 minutes before we finally drove up to the window. I got my ice creams at 8:15, and they were still wrong. I just took the wrong order at that point because my friends ice creams were melting and my food was cold. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time something like this has happened.

I have always loved Sonic burgers, but the one I got at the Valliant, OK store this morning was the best ever. The veggies were plentiful and burger was perfectly cooked. The service was also wonderful. I hope that the employees there get the credit that they so richly deserve.

The past two experiences sum up every visit we have had since moving to this town. Service is SLOW. Even if there’s only 3 cars ordering food, expect to wait 20 or more minutes. We were in the drive thru this past weekend, two cars in front of us. It took them 15 mins to get the first car a single combo, and 5 mins to get the next car a single hot dog. Then we sat at the window for another 15 mins before we got food. So we waited 35 minutes in a 2 car line. And the rest of the place was not busy. Just tonight I ordered, only 4 cars waiting. Took 20 mins to get my food and by the time the food got from the kitchen to my car (spot 2, literally as close to the door as possible) the food was cold. Burger, chicken, fries all cold. It’s a waste of time and money every time we go, so we will no longer be going
