Our last night here so we decided to walk the Pier Park to do some shopping & walk the pier over the beach & head on over to Margaritaville for dinner – we arrived & decided to sit outside – nice view the weather was Ok , little breezy bit tolerable -it wasn’t super busy but it was busy for our server , Gabby – she was very nice & entertaining- considering working into a double shift & multiple tables some sat up to 18 wow but she handled it very professionally & didn’t miss a beat – her personality , attitude & professionalism went hand I hand . I ordered the Greek salad with chicken , hubby ordered seafood combo , SNL ordered seafood combo & BNL ordered Ribs they all were impressed with their meals – the quality was great – the presentation was great . We asked to see the manager & she, Heather came out to chat with us & we expressed how nice & awesome Gabby was & is great asset to Margaritaville . Heather was very nice as well . We thank you for that b/c most people like to complain & not take the time to share the positive feedback .
Gabby is definitely an asset to the restaurant & she exemplifies the true meaning of customer service & working under pressure . We also had a really nice lady Ms Mary come out & greet us “hey family” saying she’s from Louisiana also – sweet lady & has a story for sure – but great environment atmosphere & quality affordable food !
Oh & the lil picture guy coming by is awesome idea !
I also had the dragon fruit drink it was da bomb ‘

This is basically a Beachfront Apple-Chili-bees’s. We were seated quickly and drink orders taken. Drinks came out fast. The full sized pics of drinks on the menu came out in small plastic cups (like kid-sized cups).

The food was mid at best. I got the low country boil that was fairly flavorless and the potatoes were still hard/uncooked.

The pasta dishes had good flavor and a fair amount of shrimp/scallops but the pasta was criminally undercooked.

All of the kids dishes came out fine.

The location at Pier Park is convenient and the view of the water is nice.

Tourist trap, but we knew that walking in. Service was friendly.

Very nice restaurant at the pier. We went around 8PM and not very crowded. Atmosphere is bright and romantic with live band.
The foods are so delicious the shrimp pasta is a must try, was rich and moist. Jambalaya was great, well mixed and lots of protein. The dip was ok, kinda plain, too much cheese and so doesn’t melt so kinda hard for dipping.
Service is 10/10 very fast and welcome

We went as a family for Thanksgiving dinner. Even though there were few diners, it took them almost 45 minutes to bring our food, which was okay. The waiter did his best, but we felt they were understaffed and we weren’t completely satisfied with the food.

It has a great atmosphere and is beautifully decorated,

Idk where to start. Christmas day Panama City Beach. I get it. No one wants to work. But damn. Hostess was super short stuck up. Our server Keith who also had some bar duties im assuming cause he came by like twice, other than that I can see him tell others to take his tables. The one lady in the light pink sweater who seem to be a manager or someone in trying for, was awful came by took an order and disappeared! When she did walk by would just look straight not trying to see us waiving you down. So we get our appetizer (cold) and then food same time. Also cold. There were plenty of empty tables obviously christmas day but not slammed. They had employees all over. But yet 15 mins to order drinks. We asked for drinks and came out wrong. Silverware was dirty. Fish tacos and shrimp were so over cooked. Kids and adults had no desire to eat it. I let him know almost everything was over cooked and dry except the fries the only old cold thing that came out. Minus the simple coronas we asked for with a salted rim and lime. Came out warm and bottle sweating. I got up fornthe first time, said coronas were supposed to be salted and lime. He just handed me a salt shaker. No one ate hardly anything. He came over with no cares seems like after I told him and said manager did their best. 10% off. 150+ tab for which no one ate. And it was 10% off. And seemed unfazed. Second time this “chain” restaurant has been trash. First time was Gatlinburg tn. Table dirty. Condiments on table had green spots. Like the A1 sauce. Mind you A1 is pretty much black. This is PCB location btw. This establishment and is trash. Jimmy Buffet should be ashamed that John Cohlan has let the restaurants get so sloppy. Yall hire people with no motivation, the restaurants are worn out, and the service is garbage. I remember when it used to be fun exciting and clean. Seems like if it wasn’t for some tourist you’d be like the McDonald’s on the otherside of the tracks. We will never eat again.

Stopped in for late lunch/early dinner as we were just leaving the beach. Loved that we could sit outside and watch the sunset. I was only able to take a pic of my meal, but it was tasty. Had just enough sauce, chicken was crispy, and it may not look like a lot, but it was filling & I did take some home. I wish I had taken a pic of my mocktail (I was driving). It was soooooo good! I had the Island Coconut Refresher – it’s made w Pineapple juice, Red Bull Watermelon, coconut & passionfruit syrups, topped with unsweetened coconut milk. #Delicious I know it sounds sugary (it wasn’t), but it was just the pep I needed after being in the sun.

Not a great experience tonight. Slow service and 2 of our 4 orders were incorrect. When we did receive the correct food it was not worth the price we paid for it. Landshark fish was very tasteless and burgers were mere average. Even our outdoor seating was not the best with only a partial ocean view.
Pros:
Great location
Good vibe
Close parking
Cons:
Slow service
Subpar food
Overpriced

Our experience was okay. At first, we had a waiter who was training, and bless his heart, he was trying his best, but it just wasn’t cutting it. The server who was training him stepped in and really took care of us! That’s the main reason this review is as high as it is. I wish I could remember his name to give him credit, but absolutely amazing service. Our food was good, but not phenomenal. We had the volcano nachos and appetizer trio for appetizers. The volcano nachos would have been a lot better if the toppings were consistent throughout. Most of the toppings were only on top, leaving a little of empty tortilla chips in the middle. The appetizer trio was pretty good! I had the grilled fish tacos, and they were good. Overall, I’m happy with our experience, but I do wish the food was a bit better. Again, our server was phenomenal and really saved a lot of our experience!

Service was extremely slow. Table was uneven which caused my tsunami drink to spill after 10 seconds of receiving it. And was told they wouldn’t replace it or remove from bill and needed to pay for another. Ordered a chicken salad with extra tomatoes and received it with 0 tomatoes. Great brand not so great location. Don’t have accidents they don’t believe they happen. We also ordered a quesadilla and it was mushy and chicken was pink. Also had a shrimp dip that had no shrimp but tons of onions peppers. Both these items were removed from our bill

We were in Panama City Beach, and right across from Pier Park we found Margaritaville. You know how it is with chain restaurants, expectations can go either way, but let me tell you, this one came through.

I went with the BBQ ribs and half grilled chicken, and honestly, solid 8.5 out of 10. The meat was juicy, well-cooked, and had that smoky flavor that hits right. I paired it with fries and a Caesar salad simple sides, but fresh and well done. The chicken had that sweet BBQ glaze, cooked just right, not dry at all — you could tell it wasn’t some frozen quick fix.

We also got another half chicken with different sides ’cause we were looking for some good protein. The portions were generous and presentation was on point.

Service was friendly, not super fast but with that laid-back beach town rhythm. The vibe? Colorful, relaxed, with music and a nice view of the pier crowd passing by perfect for a chill post walk meal.

My tip: come hungry, get the ribs without hesitation, and if you’re watching your diet, the grilled chicken with salad gets the job done. Great spot for casual lunch while exploring the area.

Would I go back? Definitely. It’s not fancy or super local, but the food’s made with care, and the atmosphere just hits right.
