Have a dietary restriction or allergy – DON’T COME HERE. Have been here before. Tonight we stopped by for a gluten free pizza. Unfortunately, we were given a regular pizza. It took a bit before we realized that it was not the gluten-free size. We had ordered a glass of wine and a beer and informed the waitress that we didn’t think this was gluten-free. She agreed it was not gluten-free. they decided to make another gluten-free pizza, but by then we were ready to leave. We had waited about 40min for the first pizza to arrive and waiting another half hour was not appealing. The man who showed up sounded very cavalier, ‘sorry, simple error’??? Really??? considering anyone that requires gluten-free is clearly going to be sick after having eaten regular pizza which we had been very clear about and was clearly the restaurants error. When I complained to one of the staff managers, he said it was a simple mistake and seemed truly to not really care or recognize the enormity of the error. So, for any of you gluten-free people make sure and stay away from J Willy because not only do they make mistakes but they don’t make it right.

We stopped by J. Willy’s Public House on a beautiful sunny Saturday during the West Linn Wine Walk but tickets were sold out. Luckily, we decided to stay and grab a bite anyway, and I’m so glad we did!
We sat outside, which was perfect for the weather. I ordered a slider burger without the buns since I’m gluten-free, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and even though I didn’t get a look inside or at the bar this time, the overall experience was wonderful.
I’ll definitely be back to check out more of the menu and hopefully see the inside next time!

Great vibe and fantastic happy hour. Drinks were spot on. Lots of TV’s in the bar. Lots of outdoor seating with umbrellas. Great amount of parking. Food was good. We had the nachos at happy hour with pork and they were great. Bar was full and people were chatting. The restaurant menu is great as well. They have a happy hour beer menu and they are $1.00 off. They have a happy hour liquor menu as well. Right on Willamette drive and right in the heart of West Linn.

We almost gave up hope for Downtown West Linn restaurants. Everywhere we went had mediocre food and horrible service. On a whim we stopped in here. What a pleasant surprise. Excellent food and the service was wonderful. Nothing irritates me more than inattentive staff.

Shayla did an excellent job balancing 6 tables at once and still providing excellent service. A nice place for brunch out on the sidewalk. Jeffery the owner touches every table making sure you feel welcome that your accommodations have been met.

Michael is the most wonderful and attentive server and has been there for years! The food is always fantastic – I especially love their pizzas, and cobb salad. Lots of beers on tap and generally good for a fun night out.

Very friendly service. The food was very mild, but well prepared and a nice portion size. The mildness was great for my 4-year-old. He’s pretty picky, but was able to fine something he liked on the menu. The mules are great! We tried the Irish Mule and Juniper Mule. I’ll go back just for the drinks if nothing else.

Had an excellent lunch here today. Everyone was friendly, the food was great, and the air conditioner was air conditioning—the trifecta for hot, cranky kids and their hot, tired parents. Going to make a point to come back here next time we’re in West Linn.
