Just stopped by for a beer, and I was able to get a whole history lesson about the tavern and surrounding area with the bar tender. They even had a bar pup named Sally who was dropped off, and she just never left. They had 4 or 5 beers on tap, including Stella and Smithwick’s, which was very surprising to someone who’s been to a number of small town bars. I loved the time I got to spend there and I’m looking forward to going back!

Went to see My Old Man’s Band on Sunday afternoon. It was an excellent small town bar. Wonderful staff, super friendly, just a great place in the middle of nowhere. We didn’t eat but my guess it would be perfect.
