We start out by using only 100% halal certificated chicken tenders and marinating them in our world-famous Red’s Chicken Rub. After that, our chicken gets a bath in our homemade breading and then hits the fryers for a swim in our all-natural oil. A final dusting of Red’s secret “Red Rub” is applied and these bomb fire eats are ready to serve. Each sandwich or tenders basket is always made to order – fresh, fast, and outrageously delicious. Guests can choose between six unique spice levels ranging from Mild to FKU CRA! Yes, it’s that crazy. Our sandwiches come on a 3” potato rolls and are served as twins. The standard build includes bun, chicken, pickle, and house-made cilantro slaw topped with Red’s Famous Big Bird Sauce.

I believe I had the #2 combo which is two sandwiches, fries, and a drink. I like spicy, but I also don’t want to ever assume, so I got them medium spicy. The offer also came with a toffee cake. The guy at the counter was really friendly. Some of the other patrons seemed to be regulars and knew him, so he was quite chatty (in a good way.) I got it to go, the order came out pretty quickly, and I headed home.
After about a 40 minute drive, the sandwiches were still pretty warm. I quickly devoured the fries. They’re a good crinkle cut and I bet if I ate them on-site, they would have been great. Then I had a sandwich. Sauced, some pickles, and slaw as “toppings” (slaw was on the bottom.) The medium spicy had a little warmth, so not too overpowering. The coating on the chicken is maybe a light batter that is slightly crispy. I can’t tell how they spiced it, as it seems like it’s not a hot sauce, but more of a powdered spicy seasoning. I decided to save the second sandwich for lunch then next day, though I kind of wanted to eat it right away. The toffee cake is also sitting in the fridge as a treat for later…

Spotted this place when we were looking for a quick snack and the food came out really good. For the price and quality of the taste it is .
We had the #1 and enjoyed every bite for it. The place is also has outdoor and indoor seating. The parking is shared with the other store. And the staff, they’re so nice and just make things easy.

I accidentally ordered the 2 sandwiches with fries, my bad! I asked for a “to go” container to take the 2nd sandwich and fries home. Tasty, hot and made to order. I ordered it spicy, which wasn’t too hot. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It had a nice flavor. There are sauces to add but I saw that my sandwich had enough on it. My meal came with a drink and dessert too! Dessert was ok.
My server was helpful and friendly. I came in during the lunch crowd and the crew handled it well. If we’re in the area… we would definitely come back to try other menu options.

The Red Bird is one of those places that does one thing and does it very well.
Everything is fried and prepared to order. Chicken is crisp on the outside, super tender and flavorful on the inside. You have your choice of spicy level from truly mild to insanely hot (take note: mild is mild but the fresh slaw on top has jalapenos in it, so if you don’t want that, leave off the slaw).
Fries are crisp, salty, crinkled and addicting. Even the toffee cake is good.

The chicken was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. I tried the chicken bowl and level Hot. Didnt care for the rice.
Mac and cheese was very cheesy!
