I don’t think I’ll ask to eat at another restaurant after experiencing the sumo for the first time. Extremely clean. Extremely fast. Lovely staff. Our total came to $88 for two people. I had a soda. My husband had a beer. Absolutely refreshing to have a dining experience with such a digitally forwarded menu. I cannot rave enough about this place. It’s an absolute must. Don’t be afraid to go on a Monday. I now understand why the wait time can be so long on certain days. Completely worth the wait! Again, I cannot rave enough about how great this place is to not only eat at but to spend time in. The ability to order items off the phone was refreshing fast and logistically a pleasant experience.

We stopped by this sushi spot for dinner and was really impressed. Sashimi was incredibly fresh, not like “All you can eat” quality and the rice was l not mushy or dry. The salmon melted in my mouth, and sweet shrimp was not soggy at all. We ordered so much from hand rolls to ramen and not single item failed us. We’ll definitely come back, especially when we don’t know what to eat since Sumo offers variety options for our family to choose from.

Today I want to share my experience of visiting this amazing sushi place — a spot I will definitely recommend to my friends and family, and one I’ll happily return to myself!
The restaurant has a very interesting concept — an all-you-can-eat buffet, but honestly, there’s no way you can eat that much . The portions are huge (dear owners, maybe make them a little smaller ).
Here’s how it works: you pay a fixed entry fee depending on the time of day, and you have 90 minutes to enjoy your visit. There are several packages to choose from, and during those 90 minutes, you can place orders every 15 minutes, selecting up to 15 items from the menu each time. On top of that, you can take unlimited items from the buffet line.
My friend and I managed to try only half of the menu — everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The rolls were amazing, and the seafood tasted super fresh. The only small downside is that we weren’t offered any alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, which would have made the experience even better.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience — tasty food, generous portions, and a fun concept. I’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Excellent service food 5 stars. Great all-you-can-eat sushi spot in Lynnwood. The value here is honestly hard to beat for the quality and portion size. Everything we ordered came out fresh, well prepared, and surprisingly fast, even during a busy time.
The restaurant itself is clean, nicely decorated, and has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it a great choice for date night or just a casual dinner where you want to take your time and enjoy the food. The menu has a good variety, so it’s easy to try different rolls, appetizers, and grilled items without feeling limited.
Big shoutout to Isabella for the excellent service. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure our table was taken care of the whole time without being overbearing. Orders were accurate, drinks stayed filled, and the overall experience felt smooth because of her attention to detail.
You can tell the staff works hard to keep things moving while still making guests feel welcome. Definitely a place we’ll come back to, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for good sushi, fast service, and strong value for the price.

The food is great, especially for an all you can eat sushi place. You can’t come in to a place like this and expect something from a high end sushi restaurant. They have a lot of options and the food came out quick. A short time after getting the foo you can order more. This is the best AYCE sushi I’ve ever had and plan on coming back again very soon. Highly recommend!

I’m only going to post my most enjoyable item here. It’s the sweet juicy orange. Most of the food looks really good, but other than that they were just okay. The soups were light, less rich versions of what they should be. One of the first things that really threw me off was the specialty rolls. They came out beautiful, for an AYCE restaurant, but they were LUKE WARM! As in the fish was room temperature like it was left out of cold storage for a while!!! I’m only giving Sumo a 2 star because the service was decent and the restaurant was clean.

Very busy on Saturday evening, but we joined the online waitlist and only waited about 4-5 minutes. First orders came out fast, later ones a bit slower but no issue since food was plentiful. Everything tasted good, plates were cleared quickly, and staff were friendly. The robot service was fun to see. Overall, great dining experience. I’d come back!

I wasn’t expecting much from an all-you-can-eat sushi place, but this place really impressed me! I have been telling my friends to come here after my 1st visit. The quality, the representation of the fish were way better than I anticipated. I had a couple of rolls, but most of my order was sashimi, and every piece tasted amazing (my favorite ones are salmon and white tuna) . Service is 10/10. Definitely worth the price!

I’ve been to 2 other Sumo locations(Renton and Tacoma) and this Lynnwood location is my favorite. I know this may sound weird, but I appreciate this location having a paper towels dispenser in the restroom instead of that Dyson moldy air blower at the other locations.
The food here is BETTER than the other locations with one exception. You’ll find this location has a better selection of hot buffer items. The squid and little cups of crab salad were so good. The muscles were meh.
One thing that I noticed is the sushi is warm. All other sushi restaurants I’ve been to, including other locations of this chain, is the sushi comes out slightly chilled. This location was not like that, which made me question if the sushi was being stored in a properly working fridge. I didn’t get sick. I just prefer my sushi having a colder temp.
This place was packed, but our orders came out at lighting speed. Maybe the sushi was already pre-made and that’s why the sushi was warm/room temp?
All in all I like this place. It’s a fantastic value for the money.
