I visited this newly opened location on Saturday, 9/6. The establishment appeared clean and the customer service was good. There was a bit of a wait, but seats were available. I was first confused when they advertised fried rice, but the rice was in a steamer and never hit the grill. The food did not have any seasoning. And my hibachi chicken was overcooked and hard. They did give a nice portion of food for the cost. The chicken wings were ok. Fresh, but again didnt have any seasoning. The food was so bland. Not flavorful as advertised. The white sauce was a life saver. I was also confused when I ordered hibachi but they were using teriyaki sauce?!?!? As that was a different option on menu.
They also charge 10 cents for a bag without asking if you even want a bag. And I’m guessing this is a MD thing. I may would try the sushi in the future. No more hibachi or wings.

It was my first time at this location. It was an hour before closing. I ordered hibachi, Sushi, and spring rolls. I saw a hair on my spring roll container I removed it. The food and service were decent, and the store itself was clean and not too busy. However, my experience with ordering online was very disappointing. The online prices are inflated compared to in-store prices (see attached photo). Despite ordering ahead, I still had to wait in line and then even longer for my food, while customers who ordered in person after I arrived received their food before me.
What made matters worse was the response from the restaurant owner. Instead of acknowledging the issue and apologizing, they shifted blame to me and minimized my concerns. Constructive feedback should be met with accountability, not defensiveness.
For that reason, I’ve reduced my rating to 1 star. Between the inflated online prices, the poor handling of pick-up orders, and the dismissive response, I will not be returning. It’s clear they did not value my business or my feedback.
