Nice quiet place to come eat and visit with friends. It is easy to carry on conversation over a warm Asian food meal, and the menu is full of tasty items from appetizers, a variety of entrees you can personalize with tofu, chicken, beef, or seafood. The whole restaurant is clean, and I appreciate the fast, kind service.
The overall vibe is laid back, with chill lounge music playing and a peculiar
amalgam of decor … farm-fresh benches… and 60s beatnik lampshades… odd mix, but whatever.
I wanted to wash my hands before we ate so I visited the men’s bathroom.
The bathrooms definitely needed attention. The soap dispenser was empty and the trash can was full (again, we were the first customers of the day).
Our server was very polite, attentive and friendly … excellent service.
Our food came out surprisingly fast. We ordered the chicken fried rice, California roll, and crab Rangoon. The chicken fried rice was as good. The California roll and crab Rangoon were also good, but a little bland compared to what I am used to.
A good experience overall on our first visit, but they need to do better with their bathrooms.
1st time over the menu offerings being mislabeled from traditional foods, 2nd visit over us requesting a deconstructed sushi roll for a child. It was unclear if she was willing to allow us to order it or not but as we deliberated a solution for our table and our options she told us she didn’t care if we went elsewhere. She proceeded to complain about other customers requesting substitutions on their menu. She yield, allowing us to order the deconstructed roll but then came back to tell us this was the last time this restaurant would accommodate this request because it gets her in trouble with the owner, who wasn’t present to speak with us. We opted to take our business elsewhere, where we could eat our food with a sense of peace.
The first visit I ordered spring rolls, then egg rolls came to the table. She tried to gaslight me about the names of the food. At the more recent visit I noticed their menu has changed to reflect their actual offering calling it “fried spring rolls”.
