I was in the area and saw this place on the map and decided to try it out and I was not disappointed! Unfortunately I came late and they were out of a few things but gave me extra food to make up for it. I got the chicken wing dinner with greens and baked beans, all of which was delicious. The rib tips were also amazing and I am excited to come back here again to try some other stuff out!

Our order was:
2 rib dinners (greens and baked beans)
1 rib dinner (baked beans and mac & cheese)
The portion size is quite a hungry man’s plate! The meat has a solid smoke flavor, I appreciate the amount of smoke. The greens and beans were a solid choice that were packed full of what you’d think a BBQ joints sides would be like.
Now, for the truth, be told.
Unfortunately, the BBQ either needs its own chef, made BBQ sauces, or a simple dry rub. Then those ribs would be amazing! The only other area lacking love were the mac and cheese. Our order had zero flavor, and the noodles were way overcooked.
Overall, this joint has some solid BBQ! I will be back to try more. It’s been a really good start so far!

I was looking for something different, I have drove past this place hundreds of times smelling that Barbecue Pit going, thank God that I had the courage to try something new. Probably the best greens potato salad and cheeseburger meal that I’ve ever had in my life. Cannot wait until my next visit to try the brisket or ribs.

Truck driver with some down time walked across street to try. Met immediately with warm smiles and amazing smells. Order was brought out surprisingly quickly. Had a warm chat with owners and headed back to my truck and enjoyed one of the best lunches in awhile. Ribs were full of smoky flavor and the salmon croquette was amazing. Praying I get back through here again soon so I can have it again!!

I’m a long-distance trucker out of Florida. I enjoy trying food all over our country. C&L food is excellent. I can’t remember the last time I had collard greens this good. The pulled pork and potato salad were excellent, too.

Felt like i walked into someone’s house without knocking and asking them to feed me. Staff very very friendly. The tips had been cooked and warmed up. Green beans were decent. Mac was flavorless. Paid $18 overall but definitely should’ve been fair/carnival price $5.
