What an experience! A very down home, southern diner. We happened to be there for Fish Friday, which my husband enjoyed greatly. I had the lemon grilled chicken salad, and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was shredded and nicely seasoned, plenty of it without overwhelming the rest of the salad. My son had the two piece chicken strips, but don’t worry about it not being enough-they were really more like breaded sliced breast strips. My daughter had the breaded shrimp meal with the baked potato. Plus we all had a delightful dessert. The lemon icebox cake was my personal favorite, right up there with the pineapple dream pie. If you are passing through this part of Arkansas, Clara’s is a place worth going out of your way for.

This was my second time going, to say my first experience was much better. My fries look like they were from the bottom of the bag and my fish was 2 small pieces. I know I didn’t want ice for my drink but the can wasn’t even cold.
