First time here, let me tell ya didn’t disappoint! It was an amazing experience & learning about the AYCE feature…. Plus, came in on a Sunday which is ANY flavor Sangria pitcher for $35 mmmm ! Tyler, our expert, definitely made our visit special for our first time & recommended items that seemed to be a ‘must try’ to our taste buds, couldn’t have asked for a better time to come in!!

We recently had the chance to dine at KŌNA in Lakeshore with our kids, and it was an incredible experience. Our server, Tyler, was exceptional; his infectious smile and vibrant personality really brought our meal to life. He guided us through the extensive menu of appetizers and rolls, offering spot-on recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Each dish was fantastic! We shared some good laughs, made great memories, and left feeling very satisfied. KŌNA is definitely a restaurant we’ll be visiting again!

Some of the best sushi around, and one of the best Kona’s I’ve ever personally been too. Fish was fresh, rice was cooked excellently, decent sized portions for the price.
Only real complaint is a lack of seating and wait time for the food. Not as much an issue if youre willing to come closer to evening. One of the only options in the area open later, so personally this is a plus!

I had an amazing experience at Kona! The sushi was super fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Everything came out quickly and tasted incredible.
Our waitress Molly did a fantastic job — she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. She really made the experience even better.

The people who work here are super chill, I’ve always felt super relaxed and welcomed every time I come here. Great service regardless of the time of day and size of the party I’ve came in with. Vast selection of items on the menu with things for everybody’s different kinds of tastes and interests. Good amount of seating both inside and out for whatever kind of vibes your feeling. Prices are fair for the amount of food and drinks your getting for the orders as well. Always an exciting time when I get to eat here! 5 Stars

The service was outstanding, the apps and rolls were absolutely high quality. The sushi chef and waitress were incredible.
I traveled from chatham to try Kona out with a friend and it’s safe to say both of us are interested in coming back sooner than later.
10/10 recommend

The food and service couldn’t have been better! I’m already thinking about making the pilgrimage again!

*September 2024 update: Tyler and Prateek made my wide and I’s night.
A normal sushi dinner date was made way better with the service and vibe provided!
Prateek blew us away with the presentation of the rolls, while the table service from Tyler was professional, prompt, and very courteous.
Food was great across the board as always.
I highly recommend making the trip to this location of Kona and hope you get the awesome service of these two.

My first sushi rating below 5 stars in Canada.. Paid over $150 for 4 people and only received 16 very small rolls each. Portion sizes have more than halved compared to previous visits. I’ve been ordering here on Monday nights for years, but sadly won’t be returning. Left hungry after the meal when I used to always have leftovers. Very disappointing to see how far it has gone downhill.

So me and my two daughters went here for a birthday dinner and we were immediately seated by a kind waitress and we got our drinks very quickly and ordered. We were having all you can eat so we ordered a good amount of rolls and the food came out in about half the time I was expecting and it came in a giant boat, by the time we were about done it started pouring and my daughters wanted to go dance in the rain and the waitress danced with them! Everyone was so nice and the food was fantastic and it was a wonderful time and I totally recommend coming here.❤️ We definitely love the atmosphere here!

Literally the coolest staff you could possibly imagine. It’s like going to a house party that actually goes the way you’d like. The servers and the cooks are top notch. I’d never eat out alone, but this is one place where you could not bring anyone with you and you’d still feel like your social battery got recharged. They’re definitely not the throw the menu down, come back before anyone could have possibly decided and then take your order, check once and then never return again until you beg for the bill type place. The service is excellent and the food is exquisite. My favourite is the Alaskan and the Normandy. If you love raw tuna, this is your place. Not many do it well. Just had all you can eat and i feel like a king. Wish i couldve eaten more. They even made me a custom dish. Sashimi is insanely good. I come here often. Come here when you want a culinary experience in a warm environment.
