Great spot for lunch. Quick service. Delicious sushi.
We ordered the sushi Maki combo each. A generous portion for $25. It came with Miso soup. The quality of the fish is great, and the spicy options can get you back to work energized.
The place was buzzing with professionals coming for lunch, but was not too noisy and we were abe to have a conversation comfortably.

I loved this sushi spot!!!!! They had the cute little tables on the floor where you have to take your shoes off to sit. That was such a cool vibe! The service was great and everyone was so nice. The food was also obviously amazing. They had such a range of foods from noodles and rices, to sushi & omakase to fried foods and cooked appetizers. I loved the spicy scallop wrapped in avocado and the fresh octopus with pickled wasabi. The fish was also so fresh I could’ve had 100 plates. This is a great spot I highly recommend !! They’re also so accommodating to people who can’t eat rice. They had a riceless roll menu and can make any hand roll without rice. I loved my riceless eel avocado roll!

Fantastic sushi literally 10 steps from our hotel. We had been craving sushi but we’re so picky I was afraid to try it – I’m so glad we did. The special roll, spicy tuna and the eel and cucumber rolls were fabulous and not at all expensive which was so crazy to me. Had the creme brulee and tempura vanilla ice cream – the ice cream should’ve been fried more but that was my only complaint at all and it still tasted great. Would absolutely come again – I can’t believe they were available on a Friday night at 8 without a reservation. Yes it was February and yes it was an unprecedented cold but still

We were looking for an authentic Japanese spot in Midtown East and decided to try Tsushima. It’s an authentic Japanese place with a huge menu selection, especially their appetizers and various Japanese dishes.
I came with a group of 8, and we ordered a variety of appetizers and sushi sets to share.
We selected 8-10 appetizers, ordering double portions for about half of them, including Kani (Crab) Cream Croquette, Edamame Tempura, Goya Chanpuru and Grilled Shishamo.
For sushi, we chose 6 sets (Moriawase, which included pieces of sushi and rolls). The pieces were quite small and easy to eat.
They had a nice dessert menu, too, so most of us ordered one each. Matcha Tiramisu and Hojicha Cream Brûlée were popular choices.
At the end of our meal, they served us hot tea, which was a nice touch.
Looking forward to dining again to try more dishes.

No frills, fresh fish Japanese restaurant and bar. I sat at the bar and there were only local Japanese customers which was a good sign. Service could have been friendlier.

My wife and I each selected the USD 40 combo (Soup, Salad, Rice, 3 appetizers (select from 9) and one Main dish sushi roll plus two shrimp tempura and tempura veggies, plus a small bowl of rice if you’d like. All was delicious, especially the tempura. Everything had its unique flavors, and was all well presented.

Oh man — we were completely blown away with this restaurant. We just saw this while walking around the area, not knowing what to expect. We were just really craving for Japanese food. Needless to say, we are SO happy we chose this restaurant for dinner. The prices were surprisingly wallet-friendly, given the freshness and quality of the food. Each bite was just SO GOOD. The service was very fast, and the server was so friendly and accommodating. I honestly can’t think of anything bad about this restaurant. I can’t wait to eat here again!

Love this place for Lunch. Really tasty lunch specials. Fish is always super fresh. Service is always very quick. It does get a little noisy but I am a loud talker and a good listener so I don’t mind. I typically opt for the daily special – Tuesday’s Chirashi bowl is definitely my favorite! Tons of fish for $20 – can’t beat it in midtown.
