I was disappointed in the portions. I bought the two meet meal and received 4 pieces of andoullie sausage. The cheesy potatoes tasted very bland and like cheap cheese sauce. The baked beans were too peppery but they looked very good. I really wanted to like it as I love bbq.

Absolutely great Barbecue!!! Just getting off the airplane from Texas, I had high hopes!! They did not disappoint! The brisket was smokey and great beefy flavor. The Pulled pork was also flavorful and Juicy. The baked potato was baked perfectly. Why not 5 stars? The “Burnt Ends” were cuts from the Point and had Zero Bark on them. Burnt ends are suppose to be Burnt pieces of meat, hence the name.

Maybe the most bland bbq I’ve ever had. I got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on top and a side of potato salad. The meat nor the coleslaw had any flavor and was very soggy. I tried to add the sweet bbq sauce to give it something and it was so not good I took half of the sandwich home to eat with better sauce and that couldn’t save it either. The potato salad was really good, but I don’t know if they make it. Pretty big bummer.

While traveling through Lincoln, we ate dinner at Mulberry BBQ on Apples Way. Initially the restaurant looked decent enough, but on closer examination when looking for a table, it was hard to find one that was clean. Ordering was difficult, as the menu board was poorly lighted, too high above the counter, and very cloudy. Finally a staff person offered us a paper menu. I ordered the pulled pork tacos, and my husband got the Chicken and Ribs dinner plate. The wait time for food was about average. When food came, most of it was lukewarm at best, and even cold for some items. My husband said the chicken tasted good and was hot enough but the meat was dry. His ribs were lukewarm at best, and only 2 of the 4 ribs were edible, the other two were nothing but grizzle. His baked potato was very undercooked to where even trying to cut it up and mash it to make it edible was difficult, and it was barely warm. The “toast” was nothing special. My pork tacos tasted OK once I added the sweet BBQ sauce, but otherwise, they too were barely lukewarm. Both of us had a side of the mac and cheese, and both were cool to touch by the time it came to the table. Couldn’t finish my tacos, as the 2nd one was already cold by the time I was halfway through the 1st one. Same with the mac and cheese. Felt this was a very overpriced meal for something we couldn’t even finish due to the temperature of the food, and the poor quality of the ribs. Disappointing experience, overall. If traveling through the area again, we would look for a different BBQ place.

Ribs were tender and delicious. I ordered the Brisket Burrito that was out of this world. If you order the burrito, be sure to bring an appetite. I highly recommend this place.

I accidentally posted my review for the north location which I have not been to. We had an excellent experience with the south location catering. Excellent brisket received high compliments. I’ve been back for lunch and always great experience.

I came in to get brisket and pulled pork for carryout. The staff was fast and friendly. The pulled pork and brisket were delicious and so was the bbq sauce and mustard. We will definitely be back.

I’ve had this restaurants food at their original location and the catered option at the state capital, and I gotta say this locations servings have been disappearing.

Many side dish options were missing the few times I’ve been here. If the supervisor on duty isn’t at the counter, the staff isn’t really helping explain the menu, which is confusing to read. Food serviceable, but I know they can be better.

Out Standing in a field

What a terribly ran business. We ordered in the restaurant and paid. We asked if we could come back and pick it up in an hour, as we wanted to be sure they would have what we needed for an event. They said yes no problem, so we made a large order and paid. Instead of pulling the product to assure they could complete the order, they resold what they had already sold…so they were out off all the items we had already paid for. Really? You resold the food you were already paid for? I believe that is called fraud.
There is no pick up area if you call in, you just get in line to find out they don’t have your order.
The explanation was they were surprised to be busy on a Friday night, really?

Absolutely the poorest ran restaurant I have ever visited. This worst than Dickey’s BBQ, that went out of business in the same location.

Avoid this joint. Go to Texas Roadhouse next door, you will be much happier.
