Came here for a post-Valentine’s dinner with my boyfriend on Friday night, February 15, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.
When we walked in, the tables had napkins scattered around and not properly set, which immediately gave a bad first impression. The service was also lacking, our server was not friendly, and the interaction when ordering drinks felt abrupt and unwelcoming.
We ordered the seafood risotto (the most expensive pasta dish), and it was very poor quality. My boyfriend barely touched it.
What really made the experience uncomfortable was seeing the server and the owner openly hugging and kissing in the middle of the restaurant. It felt unprofessional, and the server gave me an unpleasant look when she noticed I had seen them.
There was also a group of teenagers outside smoking cigarettes and marijuana. Because the door kept being left open, the smell came inside while we were eating.
We stayed less than an hour. The restaurant used to feel cozy and homey, but it’s clear something has changed. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I’ve been to this restaurant in the past. This has to have changed ownership. The price of the wine was Ridiculous.
Proportions were small and had to have changed since I’ve been there last. The price was over $60.00 per person. We had a main dish and a glass of wine. I am very disappointed and will not return to the restaurant again.
They definitely need to make some changes for people to want to return.

I still dream of the white truffle and mushroom risotto. This quaint little restaurant literally felt like eating in an Italian Grandmother’s home. Parking is available for free, and the food truly is delicious. It’s a hidden gem that feels like a Nonna cooked the food for you.

The surrounding area is undergoing some sort of development so there’s a lot of construction in the area. But You would never expect to find such a restaurant in the location . The service was fairly quick and the food was flavorful. There is limited amount of parking in the front of the restaurant and the server was able to get us seated regardless of the reservation. Would definitely return.

I ordered Spag and Meatballs ToGo yesterday evening, the pasta was overcooked and borderline mush, the sauce was bright red, really sour and the meatballs tasted very weird. I couldn’t eat more than 4 bites to make sure I was sure it tasted horrible. It had to have been an off day. Anyhow, it’s still in my fridge, unbeaten and stinky.. I would like a refund of $25. Please, since you don’t answer the phone maybe you read your store reviews. The pic shows how the food was boxed, and what it looks like, 2 of the meatballs are whole the 3rd one I cut into.

Beautiful spot to come to for any occasion. I came with friends and the Owner was so kind to deal with our indecisiveness. Generous portions, quality food and service. It was quaint, well decorated, peaceful and cozy. I prefer these types of business rather than large overcrowded no originality having spots. I will definitely be returning to try something else off the menu. Thank you for your great service to the 2 gentlemen that was so welcoming.

Extremely impressed and satisfied to have found this place on Yelp. Let me begin by telling you that the decor and ambiance are the best. Very cozy with this vintage style decor that feels like you went back in time. The service was excellent for the waitress and the owner were constantly asking me how everything was. Now the food……delicious. I started with the minestrone soup which I asked as an app and expecting it to be small and they brought me a huge plate of soup for like a family of three. Great flavor on the soup just a little low in salt which could be fixed with a dab of salt. Then my second plate was the spaghetti bolognese and that was incredibly delicious.
Finished off with a cappuccino and the owner offered me a complimentary madeleine for my coffee, again, excellent service. They will soon have a gnocchi night once a month but it’s in the works. Can’t wait to come back here with my wife since it’s very romantic at night because of the lighting and all.

This is a very nice hole in the wall by the aventura area in the Opus neighborhood in north Miami. Atmosphere is nice and refreshing. Came here with a great friend of mine from Chicago. They have a great selection of wine as well as a nice and simple menu of appetizers, pasta and main dishes to choose. I had the fettuccine porcini and my friend had the grilled salmon. The fettuccine porcini was simply excellent. Easy to tell the the pasta was handmade with the great texture it had. Wasn’t filling at all but satisfying. The porcini mushrooms along with the light sauce made it worth while. I had a chance to taste the salmon that my friend had. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and grilled. Very delicious along with the grilled vegetables that came with it. Service was excellent as well. We also had the tuna Carpaccio was an amazing start to our meal. I can see why Mazzi’s has such great reviews. Enjoy
