The pizza came out so thin that it barely resembled what I’ve come to expect from Johnny’s. And yet, despite the change in quality, the price has risen!
When I expressed the issue with the owner, instead of being apologetic or understanding, I was met with the following annoyed response “Customers requested our pizza to be more NY style”. It was frustrating, to say the least being an actual New Yorker who has never eaten pizza like this anywhere I mean absolutely nowhere in New York.
After years of being a loyal customer, it’s clear that the level of service and quality has shifted. Time for me to take my business elsewhere.

The waitress was so sweet, she greeted me with a smile and kept excellent service throughout my whole meal. She kept great conversation and definitely deserves every tip she makes and I hope to be seated with her again. She was wearing a coke shirt and pink shorts.

I really like Johnny’s pizza but when I went to the Acworth location I could not believe how rudely I was treated. I was even laughed
And scoffed at by the kitchen staff. I showed up at 4:27 on a Sunday and apparently they open at 4:30, I opened the door and went inside because it was unlocked and they all looked at me like I did something wrong and then a man with long hair barked from the kitchen that they are closed and they won’t be open for five more minutes, even though it was a three minute window. Instead of being kind and asking us to sit down and wait they just stared at us angrily till we walked outside. I waited for three minutes, came back inside and when my daughter and I walked in the man with the long hair, and the man with the beard in the kitchen, both laughed at us. I am not making a complaint about the food or the waitresses, but the kitchen staff was just outright mean and rude. God forbid someone shows up three minutes early and again it was not our fault that the door was unlocked. Do better.

I am very disappointed in my experience at Johnnys. I have been wanted to try them for months. I am not a fan of pizza sauce so i opted to get my favorite pizza, bbq chicken. Well… Johnnys makes there bbq chicken pizza with traditional pizza sauce . Never heard of this ever.. highly disappointed and it would’ve been nice for ppl like me to have some sort of disclaimer when ordering.
In addition i thought the wings would save them but yet i found a long piece of hair it in that caused a $60 meal to go to waste…
will not be returning and i do not recommend.

I had a very disappointing experience at Johnny’s Pizza. The staff was rude and unprofessional, and the overall environment felt hostile and unwelcoming. There was a noticeable lack of respect, and the atmosphere came across as uncomfortable and prejudiced.
Because of this experience, I will not be dining here again. I do not recommend this location to others.

Honestly, this was a pretty terrible experience. My pizza was extremely undercooked to the point some of the dough wasn’t cooked through. I think even if it was cooked well it still would have been pretty gross. The cheese tasted like it was 90% provolone and I still can’t figure out how to describe the after taste of the crust. The only reason this isn’t a 1 star is because our waitress was very kind although the staff seemed miserable as they worked.

Decent Friendly service, but the food wasn’t anything special. We hadn’t been to Johnny’s in a long time and it will probably be a long time before we go back. We ordered the garlic knots and they were swimming in oil/butter. We also got a cheese pizza and a stromboli. The pizza was decent, but for some reason the stromboli was topped with the same oily butter sauce the knot we’re sitting in. Our server was very friendly. I feel like Johnny’s atmosphere could be updated.

Great little diamond in the rough location. The pizza tasted great and was hot and fresh. Compared to other Johnny’s, this one didn’t burn the pizza and actually put cheese on the top! If you are looking for a great, greasy meal, look no further than Johnny’s.

Yall this the worst pizza experience ever. First they tried to give hard crust pizza (more like burnt pizza) . They redid it with no issues. I order spinach and mushrooms which was $1.49 each and as u can see from the picture i got 5 pieces of them. Oh and not to mention the lack Diversity. I definitely will not be back… I could of got a fresh pie from MOD for the same price. It’s disappointing when u work all day n all u want is a good meal n cant get it.
