Right on the border of Chinatown, Ye’s Apothecary is an intimate speakeasy and tapas bar where classic Asian décor, warm lighting, and modern craft come together to create an atmosphere of quiet allure — perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic escape.
Our menu reimagines traditional Szechuan cuisine in tapas form, blending bold regional flavors with contemporary finesse. Each cocktail is crafted like a potion, infused with Chinese herbs and botanicals for depth, balance, and a touch of alchemy.
Savor dishes like Canton shumai, Sichuan wontons in house chili oil, night market noodles, crispy tofu with signature spice blend, cumin and peppercorn skewers, yuzu-glazed shrimp, and our thirteen-spiced tempura crab — a signature indul

This place was absolutely gorgeous! My girlfriend and I visited to celebrate our anniversary and they were sure to make it special for the both of us. The whole speakeasy vibe was definitely selling as there was a lot of antique decor littering the walls and the ceiling. The waiter was very attentive and visited us every once in a while to check in and made sure we enjoyed the food and drinks. Speaking of which, the cocktails were expertly made and were the absolute selling point of the company. Also a great spot for photography. Thank you guys for making our night spectacular!!!

Amazing food and experience here. We only came for apps and drinks but I will definitely be returning to try more of the menu. We had the spicy yellow beef and potstickers, highly recommend. The nude and noble cocktail was also delish. The atmosphere is great, service was 10/10. The host and everyone was so professional and service was quick.

The worst part of our experience at Ye’s Apothecary was definitely the service. Our server seemed completely uninterested in working, she spent most of the time on her phone and chatting with the bartender instead of paying attention to the tables.
She brought a bottle of tap water to the table but didn’t even serve it; we had to pour it ourselves the entire night. She never came back to check on us, ask how the food was, or see if we wanted another drink. It honestly felt like we were a burden.
Drinks arrived almost 10 minutes after the food, which is unacceptable, especially considering the restaurant was not full. The bar was extremely slow for the amount of people there, although I have to say the cocktails themselves were delicious.
The food was really good and the atmosphere is nice, but unfortunately the service completely ruined what could have been a great experience. We ended up leaving the place very quickly.

American-style Chinese cuisine cannot be compared with the traditional authentic Chinese cuisine. The prices are a bit on the high side.
The environment is actually quite good.

Ye’s Apothecary,Appetizers? Sichuan Wontons exploded with flavor, Chili Filet O’ Fish was “I’ll-have-two, please” good, and Changsha Spiced Chicken surprisingly paired well with pineapple (who knew?). Friendly staff, perfect sound levels, and lounge vibes make Ye’s ideal for dates or small gatherings. Love the place! We’ll be back – with a paper reservation confirmation a must try guys!

A Szechuan tapas and speakeasy like bar, offering Asian inspired cocktails and food. The vintage decor and mood lighting really sets the experience. I visited twice, once seated at the bar for cocktails and the second to enjoy the full experience with food. Personally, I felt the experience at the bar was much better. When seated, our waiter didn’t really seem engaged and the food took too long to come out, hence the score. Nonetheless, really good drinks and worthy of a visit for the cocktails (and maybe the food, if you manage to have a better experience than I did while seated).

Service was good. First red flag is when they said they premixed the cocktails. Second red flag is the menu was different from online. The food was fine. Drinks were insanely sweet. Not authentic sichuan cuisine. The vibe was cute tho

This place is great! The food is flavorful and delicious. My friend and I shared a few things. Neither of us had a drink so cant speak to the cocktails, but the ones we saw others order looked good. It’s cute and cozy inside. The staff is sweet, maybe a bit overly attentive at times but I’d rather that than be ignored. So glad I went and was able to cross this spot off my list!

Super cozy and intimate spot, great for date night! They were fully booked on a Thursday night, so make sure you grab reservations in advance. Every single cocktail is unique and delicious; my favorite was the Happy Together (clarified milk!!) and the Earl Grey Gimlet was tasty as well. The food was delicious; we had crab fried rice, chili filet fish, snow pea sprouts, salt and pepper fritto misto, and soft shell crab. The spice level was manageable but had me sweating. Service was friendly and attentive as well.

I absolutely love the moody, mysterious and elegant vibe of the restaurant that resembles the upper class Shanghai in 1950s. And the food is so light and delicious, very modern style of Sichuan food. The salty egg yolk ice cream is so creative and it’s my favorite. It tastes like a moon cake ice cream, which is so cool!
