We tried Tabboulee Gyros & falafel . It’s a Middle Eastern & Greek Cuisine and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming as soon as we walked in. The gentleman behind the counter was respectful, polite, and let us know if we needed anything to just ask, which I always appreciate.
At first, I was a little unsure about the ordering kiosk when you walk in, but once I started going through it, I actually loved it. It made it super easy to see all the options and add extras. I honestly feel like I saw more of the menu than I would have if I ordered at the counter. Now the food… absolutely phenomenal. We both did the BYO bowls.I got chicken tikka and falafel with seasoned basmati rice as the base, topped with lettuce and cucumbers. The other bowl had chicken tikka and shredded lamb with seasoned basmati rice, lettuce, raw onions, and diced cucumbers. We ordered the samosas as an appetizer, so good and the perfect start.
We both got tzatziki on the side, and I added an extra spicy tzatziki… which was SO good. Definitely recommend getting the extra sauce.
Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and filling. We’ll definitely be back

First time visiting this establishment left quite the impression. I’m assuming the lady who greeted and helped me was the owner and if not then she needs a promotion! This person went above and beyond to answer any question I had which were mostly geared to what’s gluten-free for my wife. She went through the menu and made all kinds of recommendations and even let me bring a sample out to my wife who was waiting in the car with the kids. Everything we had was delicious and I would absolutely go back. The price was a little high but so is everything else these days and it wasn’t pricing me out of a meal. Besides, the quantity you get is almost worth 2 meals (unless you’re a chunky chunk like me but my wife basically fed herself twice from her order). Definitely delicious and worth checking out, especially if you love gyros!

This is, perhaps the most amazing pita I have ever had! The tomatoes taste like they just came out of the garden. The cucumbers are “diced” perfectly imperfect. Meaning, you can tell they’re hand cut and don’t come out of a bag! The feta and tzatziki flavors are so incredibly well matched they they dance! The lamb is just, I can’t think of a good enough word to describe the flavor! It’s over the top good!! I highly recommend! Now, spread a little of the hummus on here… oooff!!

This wasn’t meal. This was a moment. A feeling. This was an experience!

This hummus reminds me of my friends mothers cooking. She was always in the kitchen making Mediterranean food! This food took me back to some fond childhood memories! Thank you!

I couldn’t give 5 stars on Atmosphere. Over never been on and this is the first time I ordered! If the atmosphere is anything like the food, it’s 5 Star as well!

So me and my boyfriend went on a day date. He said he wanted Mediterranean style food. So, after a quick search, this is what I found. (Got to feed within a short time from when they say they are hungry or they start to get hangry, lol)
So it’s located in the back corner of a shopping mall. There’s plenty of open parking and other stores that you can look into after you’re done eating.
When you first walk in , it smells amazing , not many decorations, and only a few tables to eat in at. You do have the option to order at the counter with somebody or at a kiosk. We went for the kiosk because it shows pictures of all of the items.
We each got a bowl, and I got an extra tzatziki sauce and pita bread. My boyfriend got some kind of appetizer. The bill came to about sixty dollars, so it was a little on the high side for price. However, you do get a great amount in the bowls, as you can see from the pictures, it was definitely enough that we had lunch for the next day. I absolutely loved the fact that I was able to get my bowl on top of french fries. That was a big bonus for me!
Now, because I’m being honest, the tzatziki sauce was not that good. Honestly, I’ve made better at home.
I would say if you want some good food, definitely eat here. But either come with a big appetite or share with a friend and save some money. (And make your own tzatziki at home )
Bye for now ….

The portions are very generous. Our food was made fresh to order. The pita bread was delicious and had a nice crunch to it. We customized our meals, but we both got variations of falafel which was very good. Highly recommend!

We catered from Tabboulee, and they were so helpful in placing the order! Gabriel took the time to explain all the options, and the value per person was great. Everyone took home leftovers afterwards, and that’s always a good sign in my book! I’m glad we found such a great Mediterranean spot—thank you Tabboulee!

I have gotten food here multiple times with my boyfriend and we love it!! I always get the Holden bowl and it’s bursting with flavor. Portions are huge so you can have leftovers which is nice because the bowl tastes great even out of the fridge/cold. Would recommend this spot to anyone!!

I ordered catering for my store’s Grand Opening and the sandwiches were a BIG hit! Everyone loved all the different options provided and Gabriel was a pleasure to coordinate with! Super helpful and he went above and beyond to make sure our catering was top tier!

Ordered two gyros, tab fries, and a piece of baklava for takeout. Good service and clean establishment, but the food was quite bad and poorly value at the price point ($16 per gyro).

Overall, way too much sauce and seasoning. Gyros were drenched in tzatziki making them difficult to keep together while eating. The tab fries (which were advertised as mildly seasoned) had so much cumin on them that I had to throw the entire box away. Baklava was hard as a rock and oddly flavored.

If you want a better gyro for the same price, just go to any local diner (Stratford, Olga’s) instead of this place.

Update: 10/12/24

The company was kind enough to reach out, so I responded. They offered to make it right. I gave them another try.

I went inside and was greeted with two friendly employees. I attempted to use the credit on the Kiosk but didn’t work.

The kind employees called their manager and got the assistance we needed.

The place was too hot in my opinion, another guest also concurred. We felt bad for them and suggested they open the front door to get a breeze.

It took in total about 40 min to get my credit in the system and my order completed.

Verdect? It was definitely better, but still not there yet. The meat was a bit dry, but still had flavor. I got the NY Gyro that comes with fries, was good! My GF got the regular gyro, no complaints.

Thanks for making it right and we definitely had a better experience.

I added a star to food and 5 stars to service.

Sept 2024- first visit

…… meh

#1. Walk into place and staff look friendly but don’t “greet” you with a smile.

#2 Expensive- $16 for a Gyro? I know that we are in a wealthier area but 1.5 miles is a greek restaurant that charges $16 and it includes fries. This place charges $5.99 for “battered” fries, (fries with cornstarch “) the other place gives you Greek Fries.

#3 pita was just “warmed up” – if you’re gonna put it on the grill- get it hot. The place was not busy- so what’s the rush?

#4 Not from the Gyro- they scooped the meat from the warmer directly to the pita- didn’t even warm up/crisp up on grill, it was also diced like kibble. A true Gyro is cut directly from the meat and if not, the slices are warmed up on the grill.

Took a chance on a new place that had 4.7 stars? Why? Did not have a 4.7 taste nor feel.

And the tzatziki sauce was watery.

If you got the itch for a gyro and want it satisfied. This place isn’t gonna it for you.

For 40 dollars for 2 Gyro’s and one order of fries, it better be damn worth it. It was not. Sorry ‍♂️
