What a diamond in the rough! Quiet little Mexican Restaurant in Hanceville just outside Cullman on Hwy 31across from Wallace state. It is a family run business as the father, mother and two kids were working. The food was absolutely delicious and quick. They have a full bar if you like as well. I want to try a margarita on my next visit. We had several items and the Cheese dip and it was really really good. I have found my favorite Mexican restaurant without the crowds!

It survives only because their is not much else. Take out was awful. Wateryrice and mushy. Taco I asked to be wrapped separate bc of travel. They threw it on top and beans soaked it. Shell was nasty and meat inside was old tuff and tasteless. Used the other plate is a chimi. Which WAS THE NASTIEST WRONG MADE CRAP MY POOR HUSBAND HAS EVER HAD TO EAT. SHAMEFUL JOB’S. THEY DON’T CARE ANYMORE. IT’S GONE WAY DOWN HILL. THAT IS NOT A CHIMICHANGA. YOUR FOOD IS SHAMEFUL. THIRTY DOLLARS PLUS LATER. I ASKED FOR A EXTRA SALSA. DIDN’T GET IT. JUST PLAIN IGNORE YOUR REQUEST. Has only become worse. Lazy cook. ZERO STARS IF I COULD. THANKS FOR NOTHING. WORST FOOD EVER.

My server took care of me yet afterwards I was forgotten about. He was having a conversation with a gal and her son. Completely ignored me. Never came to my table to ask if the food tasted good…I don’t think I will return any time soon. Possibly sometime on down the road I might try it again. See if it is any different. The food tasted good

The restaurants health rating is 85. The women’s bathroom is nasty and smells of sewage. My children never received their plate after asking three times. Their plate was taken to the table behind us (and sat there for about 10 min) and the server took it from that table directly to ours. We asked for a new plate which only took 5 minutes to fix. The price is good and the workers where nice and they didn’t charge for the children plate but I’m not sure we will go back.

I was in the area for an event. I was running a bit behind but needed to eat. I ordered a grande top shelf margarita and the fajita quesadilla. They were both fantastic (see photos)

They have the absolute gall to charge extra for takeout, supposedly for the containers. The gag is, by the time I got home, these precious containers had exploded open. I had to squeeze cheese dip out of the takeout sack as if it were a piping bag. This place has gone straight down the drain and I won’t be back.

Food was average – run of the mill Americanized Mexican fare. Portions were smaller than most Mexican restaurants. Food was way overpriced – especially for the portion size. Better and less expensive food in the area if you have the time. Like I said, food was decent, just way overpriced. Enjoy!
