I don’t ever write reviews like this but unfortunately, that’s how it has to be this time. I remember coming to this Dairy Queen when I was younger and Dairy Queen was a happy experience….a positive childhood memory but this time it was far from that. The restaurant was pretty run down/ wore out, dirty, outdated, and honestly pretty sketchy. It seemed like it was maybe family owed but I’m not sure. When we got there we almost left because there was no one there except 2 gentlemen standing behind the counter, it felt odd but he was polite. We ordered two chicken strip baskets, everything was made fresh but it was well done. There was also a problem with the gravy, it was chunky, in a concerning way. I did take it back up to the counter and he gave me another “cold” gravy from a refrigerator. It looked good but I asked if he could heat it and that’s when the gravy started to “change”. So it looked like that due to heating it in the microwave and not stirring it.
I would suggest a new “chain” Dairy Queen be built and relocated closer to all the other stores and it would probably get alot of business; but this one, I’m sorry but I’ll never be going back.

Honey bbq glazed chicken tenders literally just have bbq sauce squirted all over them the cheese curds broke a tooth, my daughters chicken tenders literally have 8 fries in the box and the tenders themself look torn to peices or eaten. Absolutely disgusting. Wouldn’t issue a refund. Absolute joke

My toddlers foot was cold and solid as a rock. My better half’s food and my food were both cold and did not get what we paid for. Got medium curds when we paid for large.

The food was okay It could have been better. It was hotter inside then it was outside and I was afraid my ice cream would milk before I got to the table so we decided to take it and leave waited 20 minutes just for our food.

I stopped at the Pekin Illinois store for a quick bite to eat on my way to Springfield. The second I stepped in the door the smell hit me as I placed my order i started looking around and the condition of the store over all was so disgusting the smell the gnats and flies was unbelievable. I canceled my order immediately went out to my Jeep and called the health department. I am so disappointed in the dairy Queen franchise for allowing that facility to get Matt condition.

It’s an intresting place. The sign out front reads Dairy Queen but the menu inside seems to be a cheap imitation. The $4 small Cherry Mr. Misty (artic blast) I just bought looked and tasted like a very weak cherry slush water. It was horrible and a waste of my hard earned money. This is not the Pekin Dairy Queen I used to love. I am bummed.

This place is disgusting! I don’t think the bathroom has ever been cleaned. There’s ants crawling on the tables probably because the dining area hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. Equipment and lights are out. The price was $4 more than advertised.

This place is ridiculous. It is free cone Day at all Dairy Queens. They even have a sign out front, but owner says we have to buy something to get a free cone!! The whole point is they are free today. Went to Creve couer DQ and they were so amazing and got our free cones! It is the principle of it! Pekin DQ just scamming people. Never going there again. Hope it was worth it.
