Social Profile:

In the heart of San Dimas are quite a few hidden treasures that can provide a change of scenery without traveling extensively. Owner Josée Normand was inspired by her childhood in Montreal, Canada, where her family owned and operated a restaurant of their own. She shared her vision of opening a restaurant with son Jordan Nachbaur, and in August of 2014 their dream had come to life. At Rail Side Café, conversation is abundant, as the staff takes genuine pleasure in connecting with the customers. It is clear by the positive energy and welcoming atmosphere that Josée and Jordan, joined by his wife Amanda, are proud of what they have created. Rail Side Café truly is a place you want to be with your friends and family.

Railside Café was fantastic.
I had the All Aboard Burrito with pastrami, bacon, egg, and Swiss. They were generous with the egg and pastrami, and it came out full, well wrapped, and grilled perfectly. Super hearty and satisfying.
My wife ordered the Wake Up croissant with prosciutto, egg, and ham. Flaky, buttery, and done right.
I got the Main Line Cold Brew with mocha, and she had the Gold Line with horchata. Both were smooth and delicious.
I accidentally squeezed my coffee and spilled it when grabbing it from the waiter. They immediately cleaned it up, offered us another table, and refilled my drink at no charge. Incredible service.
Calm but energetic Paris café vibes with French and Spanish guitar music. They offer live music Wed, Sat, and Sun. Outdoor seating available, unisex bathroom, wheelchair accessible (limited space).
We’ll definitely be back.

The vibes were amazing — super cozy and very aesthetic. The manager was nice, and the girl at the register was super nice. Overall, it felt like a place I’d bring my kids because the atmosphere was really welcoming. The kids LOVE it here
The food was OK, they got my order wrong, and the waiter was rude.

A great cozy place super kids friendly. Outside siting is second to none in entire region. Amazing costumer service even. Delicious food. Parking is limited but available at front to the right side of building.

What a beautiful little spot! We came on it by chance on a Saturday morning and there was live jazz played so well, the food was incredible, and the service was lovely. Definitely a great spot to just sit and relax for a bit. They also have chess boards and other fun little things you can pull out and use if you feel inclined to do so. It is small on the inside, but there’s lots of seating outside.

Pleasant little café. Mist of the seating is outside. My wife and I always passed the café. We decided to stop for breakfast. Wife ordered the ham and cheese Croissant along with an orange scone. She said everything was great. I ordered thier All aboard breakfast burrito. Which I accidentally ordered. I really wanted the conductor. It was actually pretty good. Never had pastrami for breakfast before. My only knock on it was that when I was almost finished. It really got oily? The Lavazza latte coffee’s were really good . The musician/singer was a nice touch.

Cute place food was quick and easy. There’s parking in the back. As you walk in you place your order, grab a number, and take a seat. The orange juice tastes so fresh, coffee is strong, and food is good. I love the atmosphere

I absolutely love this charming coffee shop! Situated by the train tracks, the name “Rail Side Cafe” is a perfect fit. The service is incredibly friendly, and both the drinks and breakfast options are delicious. The spacious outdoor patio offers a relaxing spot to enjoy a latte while taking in the fresh air. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

Grabbed a scone and dirty chai. Both exceptional. Their servers were fast and friendly. I’ll absolutely return next time I’m on the area.
