Lovely mom and pops joint! Breakfast was bangin!
Service was kinda slow, but nothing too severe that a little patience couldnt overcome, the place was very busy. About 80% capacity.
Staff was friendly. I heard one waitress say to a patron, “this is the 1st time you ordered crepes in 10 years ive been waiting here.” She looked in her mid 20s! That’s a testament to both business and customer.
Food was great. Look i rarely give an overall 5 stars fir a breakfast joint but in the case yeah. My garden omelet was so good! The tap water tasted good as if they installed a water filter. So restaurants don’t but I notice.
Kids meal was great, my sons ate everything! The from scratch biscuits were amazing! Good job Andy!
The only ding was the pancakes. Too bready.
Bravo!

Hotcakes is my new favorite breakfast spot in Tarpon. While there are actually plenty of really good options, in my opinion Hotcakes takes the cake. lol. Anyways, their breakfast and lunch are both great! Grilled chicken salad for lunch is huge and tasty. For breakfast, you can’t go wrong. The pancakes are so fluffy and golden. The bacon is perfect to me and the new hash browns are so good.

Andy’s Hotcakes is pure comfort food done right.
Creamed chipped beef just like grandma used to make, served with hash browns—wow. Never thought I’d have to travel 2,400 miles from the farm to Florida to taste that again!
My grandson loved the Mickey pancakes and bacon, which made the stop even better.
Great service and a welcoming atmosphere. Hope to be back again soon!

Andy’s Hotcakes is hands down one of the best breakfast places I’ve been to. The eggs are always cooked perfectly fluffy, flavorful, and exactly the way you want them. Their pancakes live up to the name…light, golden, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious with just the right amount of sweetness.
The service is just as good as the food. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or sitting down with family for a big breakfast, Andy’s Hotcakes never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Had the stuffed hashbrowns with sausage gravy and it was absolutely amazing. Stop there on the way from Dunedin to the sponge docks and had a great breakfast with my girlfriend.

I had heard great things bout this place. My first visit. Very lovely , clean very friendly staff. I had the Eggs Benedict and potatoes, was delicious. I have to say I’m a 71 year old woman and my husband not well so I have to eat alone and I felt very comfortable there. It’s a little pricey for seniors but for a special little outing it was worth it. I will definitely come back and explore something else on the menu

I have been coming here since before it was Andy’s. Have enjoyed my visits and have waited until I was sure my recent experiences weren’t just an off day. There is a server Jahiya(sp?) that will keep me from coming back.
There are just too many places to go and enjoy my time vs another meal with her there.

LISTEN! If you haven’t tried this place (only open until 3pm) you must do so immediately. Drop what you’re doing and go! You think Chik Filet has a high level of customer service and food quality? Andy’s blows ‘em away! Service was incredible and food was out of this world. This ain’t “fine dining” crap… these are real people doing what they must love… and it shows. I’d drive back down from Pensacola JUST TO EAT HERE!
