Went for Sunday roast, large party. Food was ok, food wasn’t massively warm. Neither was the hot drinks. Hot plates and hotter food would have improved things. Also not much veg at all, 1 piece of broccoli and 1 piece of carrot. They should do a large bowl or bowls of veg for the table. Presentation was nice and food tasted ok but just a bit of tidying up with the presentation

San Marino is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Bolton, and it has become apart of our family’s weekly routine for dining and drinks. We had a birthday celebration there, where they impressively served 73 guests simultaneously, which was astonishing. The food is exceptional, thanks to the talented chefs. The front-of-house staff is outstanding, consistently going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience. Overall, I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10.

Went for Christmas Dinner and from booking to paying was such a positive experience.
A warm welcome received from the manager and we were shown to our table. We had prebooked our food and the staff had been very accommodating for the picky eater in our party.
Drinks orders taken and arrived promptly to our table. Food was amazing so delicious and we all raved about the different sauces with our mains. Staff checked in to ensure all was good for us but not too often which can become annoying. All the desserts were enjoyed but have to say the tirimisu was the best I have ever had.
The food, the staff and the ambience all led to an amazing Christmas lunch and can’t thank the staff enough for their pleasant attitudes, amazing service, and naturally happy vibe where nothing seemed too much trouble. Enjoyed so much we are hoping to be back in January for my birthday and that amazing tirimisu. Thanks a million guys x

Excellent evening with friends who dine here often. Really nice menu from the early bird on offer.
Lovely decore, clean toilets ( a big thing for me).
Great friendly attentive service.

Pleasant enough and about right for what we wanted but small improvements could have made it better. Pizza and pasta prices were about right but I felt the meat dishes were a little overpriced for the quality. We wanted to be left in peace to just chat and we were so service was adequate for our needs. It was friendly and polite but when I gave polite feedback that the asparagus was so woody the I couldn’t cut/chew it and had to leave about 1/3 of it, my comments weren’t even acknowledged. In short, I’d happily go back if I were meeting people there but I wouldn’t rush back out of choice. The food was, on the whole, quite nice but I’ve eaten better meals fof the same price at other restaurants in the area.

We were served by Olti the manager, he was awesome, funny and happy. He catered for our needs and was extremely polite.
We spent £52 between 2 of us…had a 3 course meal aswell as soft drink.
Very clean, superb atmosphere and FREE PARKING..this is always a bonus.
We’ll definitely be coming back.

There’s always a great atmosphere, the food is always delicious and cooked to perfection which is why we come back time and time again. The husband had the paella Espana this evening which was the first time he’d had this here and he said it was as good as the ones we have out in Spain if not better. It certainly looked better than what we have in Spain. Brad was today’s waiter and was very efficient and friendly. Thanks for the fantastic service and finally thanks to the manager who always manages to squeeze us in at the last minute when we just randomly decide to go out for tea. (Sorry, we still don’t know your name.)
