4.5 ⭐ Absolutely wonderful authentic bowl of Khao Soi. Well balanced base of coconut milk & curry. They’ll ask you how spicy you want it (remember less is more). I was ecstatic to see they served Singha beer, so naturally I had to order one.

I’m docking a half star for their Khao Soi for a few reasons: the chicken didn’t seem poached in the broth – not as tender, but perhaps they’re using specific cuts to avoid bones finding their way into customer dishes. Their fried egg noodles seemed to be just chow mein noodles. And lastly, no pickled mustard greens with the other garnishes… essential element to represent every flavor profile.

Regardless, this was a mighty bowl of Khao Soi and still highly recommend if you’re missing Thailand (or curious for an introduction).

Easily the best Thai food in Charleston. I might even say best that I’ve ever had… and I don’t really say that lightly because I’ve eaten at hundreds of Thai restaurants all around the world.

The food was fresh, didn’t have that heavy sensation. Wasn’t overly fishy. There was such attention to little details – the eggplant was grilled separately on the green curry dish (I’ve honestly never had it that way)

Not pictured was the Thom Ka Ga soup – amazing!

Service was great… I’m not going to lie, the restaurant itself was a hole in the wall. I was a little hesitant.

This place could easily survive as a high end restaurant in downtown Charleston.

I might have a hard time getting Thai food from anywhere else in Charleston again. It was that good.

We visited Thailicious for dinner on a weekend night. Thailicious is a pretty small place, with a maximum capacity of 20-25 people. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming, and when we got there, the host greeted us and showed us to a table.

We went through the menu and ordered the Thai Crispy Spring Rolls, the Tom Yum Chicken Soup, the Chicken Pad Thai, the Chicken Fried Rice with Basil, the Thai Iced Tea, and the Iced Taro.

We got our iced teas. Both the iced teas were good, and it was a good start to our dinner. Then we had our soup and spring rolls. The Tom Yum soup was amazing! It was well-made, with good balance of spices and a combination of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors. Then we had the spring rolls, and they were crunchy and made with lettuce. They tasted really fresh and good appetizer to start our dinner.

We got our dinner dishes, which were chicken pad Thai and chicken fried rice with basil. The pad Thai was a good dish with great flavors, complimented by fresh beans and scallions. The chicken fried rice with basil was a highlight of the night, we all loved it!The flavors were good, and the broccoli and carrots on top gave it a good taste.

Thailicious is a hidden gem! They serve amazing food and the sweetest lady there always helps you with a smile on her face.

The food is hot and fresh. Not a huge quantity, but an acceptable lunch portion. Do know that there are no substitutions allowed (like cabbage instead of bell peppers).
What sends this place over the moon and is refreshing is the hostess Penn(not sure of spelling) ! She is full of smiles and absolutely adores her customers, both regulars and first-timers. She brings out a tray of “spice” options with your meal, excitedly gave us a sample of her Longun tea, and we even got hugs before we left.
It is near the military base and according to her, can be quite busy during lunch time because there is limited seating. Husband got the Crispy Garlic with chicken and said it was amazing. GREAT service!

A must visit if you like authentic Thai food!
We started with Tom yum soup, it was so good! Tangy, sweet sour and spicy.
Spring rolls was also fantastic.
We got the Thai Basil Fried Rice with a hot level of 3 out of 4. It was pleasant and well balanced. Must have! One of the best I’ve had so far.
We also got the Pad Thai which was great again!

Tom yum and basil fried rice is a must. Do come out of your way to see this place, the host was a sweet lady who gave good suggestions.

The food here was absolutely incredible—my family felt like we were right back in Thailand. Every dish was packed with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The veggies stayed crisp, the chicken and shrimp were tender (not overcooked like at many places), and the beef was full of flavor. We ordered the Basil Fried Rice with chicken, Beef Salad, and Papaya Salad with shrimp, and everything was spot on.

To top it off, the owners personally came out to check on us, making sure everything was to our liking. Since we were the last customers of the night, we even got the chance to chat with them and meet their wonderful family. They’re incredibly warm, welcoming people who genuinely care about their customers. Can’t wait to come back!

This place was so amazing! Most certainly the best Thai food my partner and I have had so far. The interior is so cozy, inviting, and cutely decorated. The food is so fresh and is perfect for any day or weather. It was fantastic. And the waitress/owner Pen is an amazing and beautiful woman. She made our experience so much better and treated us like her family. We will absolutely be visiting again! 1000% recommend!!

Called in a to-go order 30 minutes before they closed for the night. The lady said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there in 10 minutes and had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She asked if I wanted to eat in ,I kindly declined her offer, considering they were about to close. The owner was so friendly and nice. Now to the food . The Pad-Thai was very good. The best I’ve had in a long time. I also got the curry puffs. They were very good as well. It’s the best all-around Thai restaurants I’ve visited in the whole Charleston area. If you are looking for Thai, definitely give this place a try. I found my new Togo Thai restaurant in the area.
