It’s little wonder why they stay busy, but even if they’re busy, they’ll get you served before you know it. The food is top notch and delicious. And those roles! I’ve never had better! It’s a mystery to me how they manage such consistent food and service perfection every time we visit but they do. Thank you Magnolia CHICKEN EXPRESS! We’ll be back.

Overall the chicken is just okay. It really lacks seasoning which is a shame because the spicy tenders are good. They have good fried fish, but it’s imported. The livers were very good, but had to pay extra for gravy since I didn’t get a combo.
They have a wide variety of sides. The French fries and fried okra are very good. The Mac and cheese is pretty bad, my kids won’t even eat it. Maybe stick with Kraft?
Good tea! And they have discounted happy hour. Check out tender Tuesday to save some money while feeding the family.
Make sure to get the seasoning packets because most of the food will need it.

Chicken Express is a great place to eat. Their sides are really good! And overall the chicken is good. I do really wish they would offer spicy in the bone in chicken. The spicy tenders are great!
Side wise, the okra are great and the fried pickles are crispy. The Mac and cheese is a little bland, but it’s not terrible. Their corn nuggets and fries are also very good. Their gravy has good flavor and pairs really well with the fried livers.
Not sure if it’s just me, but their soda tastes better than most places in town. We come here a lot just for drinks because of that reason. The happy hour is nice for that reason as well. Their tea is also great, but it is very sweet (which I prefer) but you may want to get half and half.
The staff is also very nice and personable.

The fried chicken was tasty and delicious. The okra also. I went thru DT to get my order. Chicken was very delicious as usual . Aug 25th I mostly get corn on the cob but today it wasn’t as good as it usually is. Went t eat there today. Its really good. I also got an order of chicken livers and they were good also. I paid for my order at 8:49 pm in the drive through. I sat at the window for so long a young man finally came over to ask what I had order. I gave him my order number 3381 and receipt. He came back to tell me it would be an additional 5 minutes. I asked if he could just substitute my fish for chicken strips. He returned to say that “she” said he couldn’t do that. Finally at 9:16 I was given part of my order and a refund for the additional food. I had a 2 hour drive ahead and no food. It is really sad that “she” would not make a substitution. I was very disappointed!

The drive through employee didn’t put my order in correctly despite me asking twice if she’d added specific items. When I asked for the correct food it took an additional 20 minutes to get it. The manager said she was sorry but did not offer to fix it in any way. The food was probably pretty good when it was fresh but wasn’t great cold.

The Regular fried chicken and strips are normally kinda greasy and soggy, the fries are okay, but the star of the show is the spicy strips and the dinner rolls and the sweet tea isn’t bad either
