Every time I’m in Perth Amboy, I have to stop by this place — it’s become a tradition for me! I always get two sandwiches: one Torta de Lengua (cow’s tongue) and one Torta de Cabeza (cow’s head meat). Both are absolutely delicious — packed with flavor and made perfectly every single time.
The staff are always friendly and welcoming, the place is super clean, and the food never disappoints. If you’re anywhere near Perth Amboy, you’ve got to try this spot — easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in New Jersey!

The food is bad, I recommend Plaza garibaldi! The food always taste good over there. This place I gave it a chance today because the Plaza garibaldi one was closed. This is the second time I buy their food and it taste like nothing, and they leave the chunks of skin on their quesabirria which is gross so slimy ugh. And taste like nothing. The agua frescas taste like nothing. I bought a tamarindo juice and sent me pineapple juice. And don’t even think of buying flan. They call vanilla flavored jello, Flan. I was so disappointed and sad that I tried to give it a second chance but ended up more disappointed than ever.
