Sushi Sake Davie is easily one of my favorite locations, especially for the food quality and overall experience. The atmosphere is great and very inviting, whether you’re dining inside or enjoying the outdoor seating. Both options feel comfortable and well set up, making it a perfect spot for anything from a relaxed dinner to a night out with friends or family.
What really sets this location apart for me is the food. The sushi here is some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and well made, and the presentation is always on point. My go-to order is the Hamachi Jalapeño, which I get every single time and it never disappoints. The hibachi dishes are also a huge highlight. They’re flavorful, filling, and consistently cooked perfectly, making them a great option if you’re in the mood for something hot and satisfying.
I also love their drink menu, especially the newer sake cocktails. The Blueberry Mojito is a standout and has quickly become one of my favorite drinks there. It’s refreshing, unique, and pairs so well with both sushi and hibachi.

How sad that they have only one waitress who is also the host, they also gave the main course first. And then the entrance, I also wanted to leave and no one came out to collect, I went in to see what was happening and I found the waitress in the background vaping!!!!! Please get better, thank you.

I have ordered from this restaurant a few times now and the first time was amazing, food was great, sushi was fresh….but the last three times it’s been issue after issue. The first time they forgot my miso soup and asked if we’d drive back to get it, but I will say they credited us for another for a later order which was appreciated. The last time the avocado on the sushi was dark brown and tasted extremely off. I figured it was a fluke and just a one time thing but we ordered again tonight and the tuna roll has nearly no tuna in it and the avocado is extremely hard and not yet ripened ,and the hibachi steak came with 6 pieces of steak but they filled it with mushrooms to cover it up . This place is more expensive than many places we’ve tried around and it’s very frustrating to see a place charging 16$ a roll and 32$ for hibachi and the actual meat/fish is basically nonexistent.

My first and definitely my last takeout from this place! The salad was completely brown, and my hibachi chicken had only six small pieces. The vegetables didn’t look fresh either. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

I waited over 40 minutes for two sides of fried rice, despite receiving a text saying my food was ready. I arrived at the correct pickup time, only to be told by the hostess—who was also handling all the tables—that it would just be a few more minutes. That “few minutes” turned into nearly an hour.
Not only was this a $50 order, but it ended up taking over an hour of my time—as a first-time guest, this was incredibly frustrating. I was completely ignored until I finally spoke up and explained how ridiculous the situation had become. At that point, she offered me a Coke or Sprite as a gesture, but I declined the drink—had I known my order was going to be wrong and missing items, I might have taken it.
The chicken fried rice was missing the $5 steak add-on, and the egg that should’ve been in that dish was instead added to the steak fried rice.
Extremely disappointed with the service. I’ll give them credit—the fried rice itself was delicious—but the lack of organization and care for guests really ruined the experience.

Luncheon special and noodle platter are full of amazing aromas , your taste buds will thank you over and over. The staff are very attentive, the owner is very pleasant and accommodating. I will definitely be going back as soon as possible. Atmosphere is very relaxing with pleasant jazz music. Do not miss out on this great dining experience.

Miso Soup – great and I’m not usually a miso fan at most places.
Wahoo tataki was fire (could have had a colder plate but didn’t take away from the dish as we ate it so quick)
**Tristen Truffle Roll** – this is where it’s at. I will order 2x of this next time.
Golden panther roll – was a nice twist. Adding honey is different but nice.
Lastly, the trio fried rice, I think we will order this every-time we come. I liked that the shrimp were cut into perfect bites. Helped while holding our baby.
Atmosphere was friendly, not loud and peaceful.

Looking for a great lunch spot or even dinner? DEFINITELY recommend here! They just opened two months ago. The food is impeccable! Everything is VERY fresh and cooked to perfection. It’s so clean! You can tell they are on top of keeping it clean. Upon arrival Frankie welcomed me very pleasantly and Daniel served with pride. He gave me excellent recommendations. It was so good, I had to order food to go too. I’m definitely coming back and bringing friends and family here. Keep up the great work! Truly impressed by everything about Sushi Sake. 10/10 !
