The Greene Turtle started in Ocean City as a place where beer was king and the menu consisted of a barrel of peanuts. Over time, we’ve grown an obsession with making good food and a belief that staying true to ourselves is what matters most. We make hearty food using fresh ingredients and highlight the blue crab dishes that are authentic to the Mid-Atlantic. Gather around and try food that’s so good that you’ll have to share.

Food was okay, nothing special but the service sucks. Our waiter just walked around and hides in the back even though we need things and have ordered food. It should not take 30 minutes to bring a child’s ice cream.

My family and I passed by and saw this place and stopped. Wings were good and the beer was cold.
Wife wasn’t happy with chicken wrap or the Mac and cheese. Kids were happy with chicken fingers.

Had a horrible experience here. I was really excited to have my first experience at this restaurant as the aesthetics (sports bar) intrigued me. Went on a Saturday night and it was not busy so was sure we came at the right time! There were many empty tables and booths. I ordered the chicken finger meal and my sis ordered the chicken sandwich entree. It took 25 minutes for a server to approach our table and take our drink order. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Took an additional 10 minutes to receive the drinks. The appetizer never came. It took an hour and 10 minutes for our food to arrive. When I asked the manager is this normal, instead of apologizing she made an excuse.
Our food was lukewarm. The tenders were soggy which makes me think they were just sitting out before they arrived to our table.
If you’re going to the bar, I think you will have better service. If you’re coming to dine at a table or booth, eat before you come and plan to spend 3 hours….or you can just go to Cheddar’s next door.

The caesar salad was full of old brown lettuce. The mozzarella sticks were undercooked. And the mocktail that we didn’t know was $10 had a ridiculous amount of ice.

You would think going to a restaurant at 4pm would be a quick service before a huge dinner rush. BUT NO! Saying service was slow was an understatement it was a snails crawl …. ordered food for my kids and appetizers and took damn near 30mins mind you the place wasn’t even a quarter full server was understanding and did.refill tje drinks but she wasn’t cooking the food. Food eventually came and no season on anything.
Fish and chips were over cooked by the color on them with no salt at all, ordered the hammers and again no season just pork steamed on a plate. Made the mistake of ordering the tenders and waited again for over 30mins,same result no season at all and over cooked rock hard. The server asked me how it was and I told her bad she took it back and took it off of the check but another portion of the bill should have been comped knowing the food took forever and the food quality was terrible.

Ordered loaded tots and a cheesesteak. Tots were great….no complaints. However, the cheesesteak was just bad. Hardly any meat in comparison to the bun. Also….way too many onions….like more onions than meat. Then I upgraded to the ruby red grapefruit crush and you couldn’t even get that right. At the end the manager came out, we told her the issue and then they didn’t comp any of it. I shouldn’t have to ask…..if I tell you the issues, you should comp something regardless. At least have the decency to comp something. This was our first time at THIS Green Turtle and I DO NOT recommend this establishment.

The wait time wasn’t that bad. The food was delicious and hot! Our waiter was very nice and sufficient. We went to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday. We were allowed to bring her cake inside, and the restaurant provided us with plates and a knife to cut the cake. Five stars! I will return.

This is real nice place. Good food,clean nice environment and staff was great! I’m sorry I forgot our server name we went around 1:30pm.She was attentive customer service friendly. We loved the food hot, seasoned good and the shrimp always on point! Patrone Margarita was also on point!The manager even checked in .This was a great exsperience! Thanks again! We will be back!.

Had a drink and some light food (Wings)) , and relaxed. Atmosphere was nice, family friendly, though a little loud. Service was very good – our server took order and brought what we ordered on time, and did not “hover”. Food and drinks made as expected (and I am picky). Would recommend if you like the “pub” style dining environment.
