My girlfriend took me here on a date and we loved it. Great atmosphere and amazing food. Loved the general atmosphere and vibe of the place with fellow dnd players having fun in the background talking about their campaigns, stats, and future strategies. The place had a lovely aesthetic with cool ceiling lamps and a brownish color theme. The plates were also very aesthetic and were reminiscent of a fantasy inn. The dragon turtle latte was warm and deliciously sweet. The whipped cream was good and the caramel and chocolate on it were super good. The burger wasn’t drippy at all and tasted great. The waffle fries were extremely good and I loved the saltiness. The ketchup complimented the salty flavor and enhanced it. The scotch eggs were great and the mashed potatoes were very soft. The girl who attended us (Vanessa) was extremely kind, patient, and courteous. Genuinely a great and satisfying dining experience.

I knew it was a themed restaurant but I came for the food and it did not disappoint. I wanted some British cuisine and I was quite delighted with the selection. It’s small but diverse and delicious! The Scotch eggs were great, the Shepherds Pie was awesome. The theme is a bit subtle but use your imagination! Unlike some other reviews I thought the price was quite fair and while the wait was longer than at some restaurants, the food was piping hot and obviously very freshly prepared. I can’t wait to return and try the other dishes!

Great service, and a good selection of on tap beers. The food itself was fantastic, I especially loved the burger and the pretzels. My wife really enjoyed the shepherd’s pie and the scottish egg. What could be better than sitting down for a bite to eat, and buying Pokémon cards at High Tide!
There’s a great selection on the menu so I think there’s something for everybody.

Ordered a turkey leg based on a wonderful picture on there Facebook and what I got was horrendous. Contacted the business and the manager was extremely defensive and standoffish. Then they had the nerve to delete my Facebook comment when others started to argue with me. Will never recommend this business to anyone ever again
Stopped in with my family around 1pm on a Sunday wasn’t very busy however the food took a long time to come out almost 30 mins for chicken tenders. Food was decent and staff was very nice. Prices are pretty high for such a limited client market. Cost over $40 for 2 adults and 1 kid at lunch.

This is a great place to bring the family or your friends for lunch. I say that because I’ve only been here for lunch, but I’ve been with three different groups of people each time. While you wait for your food, you can pick up a board game at the door and play a round if you’d like — or you could even bring your own.
Their burgers are great, and other members of the party enjoyed their dishes as well. I enjoy the eggs wrapped in sausage quite a bit too.
Highly recommended, and directly attached to High Tide Games.

For D&D lovers and those who want some decent food. We had the chicken tenders & burger w/ fries and a side of Mac n cheese.
The burger was comparable to a culver’s butter burger and the fries were unseasoned, but still good. The chicken tenders were super yummy as the breading was like bone in wings skin with only chicken and no bone. If that makes any sense. Hah.
As for the Mac n cheese it was creamy and yummy. The food came out relatively quickly, and the environment was nice. They’re attached to the high tide games, so after you eat you can do some shopping. 🙂
Maybe it won’t be for everyone, but we enjoyed it.

This place is tucked in the Old San Souci Plaza on the north side. It’s likely co-owned or operated with High Tide Games since people freely pass through the inside open door way. I wish it had more customers because I do not want it to go away. Been there a couple times during lunch and only one other table was occupied when I was there at 12:30.

The Scotch Eggs tasted amazing and Shepards Pie used real lamb. I’m usually not one for whole eggs but it has so much flavor. Everyone’s photos are actually accurate to how well it tastes. Only thing is it’s quite pricey for the food. You pay the extra for the theme.

The Shepards Pie and pretzel were excellent! I could taste the quality of the ingredients. I will definitely be back.
