this place has the best ice cream ever! i come here with my boyfriend quite often since we live down the road. my favorite candy is reese’s so i get the peanut butter cup dougie and they put a generous amount of reese’s in it and the ice cream is always so rich. 10/10!!!

I tried this place 2 times hoping it would be better the next time. Being born and raised in Chicago most of my life I was excited to try the Italian beef and the Chicago hot dog. The first time the Italian was bland, the second time it was salty and they only have provolone to put on the beef and some of use like mozzarella or nacho cheese on ours. The hot dog just wasn’t it at all. Also the prices is ridiculous. I go home every other month and it’s worth the wait.

Small building on the corner. They have picnic tables outside for you to eat at when it’s warm. Food was really good. The Vienna beef hot dog in the Coney was great. Really enjoyed the fries and Italian beef sandwich the hot peppers are hot .

Terrible system. You’ll wait forever for an overpriced order that is wrong. We ordered two Italian beefs: both w/ provolone, one wet w/ no peppers, & one dipped w/ peppers. Both came wet w/ pepper. Almost $50 for some high school kid that can’t even understand simple semantics to get my order wrong of two sandwiches, one chili cheese fry & two waters. Overhyped & overpriced.

They have a great chicago dog and many ice cream options. Customer service is kind and wait times are short. Cute spot. Minimal parking available and street parking.

Stopped by today for the first time. We found the food to be very high quality and delicious. I had the walking tacos and a chocolate malt. My friend had the “hot mess” tots and a Chicago style hot dog. I will definitely be back to try the sundaes, or maybe get another malt because it was so good!! The service was very friendly and efficient as well. Just one note for first timers, I somehow didn’t realize there is no indoor seating, which was fine for today but if it’s raining, you may need to take your food to go.

I used to come here for the ice cream on date night. Everything is always top-notch. Friendly staff quick turn around time on orders
Now I’m hooked on the roast beef sandwich. This isn’t your ordinary sandwich and it’s a little pricey, but for the quality and what the sandwich is it A must try. I get the mild and sweet Peppers double cheese and the wet dip on the side

I’m so impressed with this place! The most flavorful and AMAZING Italian beef I’ve had in years! The service was awesome and even my picky 5 year old loved the food and ice cream. Absolute 10 out of 10. The owner, Mo of Matt &Mo’s, is a doll and the staff is equally cool…boy is this place phenomenal. I will definitely be back!
