We visited Swad Restaurant for the first time to try dabeli and vada pav, as we had heard a lot about it. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing and not worth the money we spent.
The chutney that was served was extremely watery and did not taste like proper mint chutney at all. It honestly felt like cost-cutting. When you are charging a good amount for items like dabeli and vada pav, customers expect quality food. The dabeli was also not served hot, which further spoiled the taste and overall experience.
What made the experience worse was the customer service. That uncle, who is the owner of the restaurant, When we politely asked for the receipt, his facial expression was very unpleasant, as if we had done something wrong by asking. This kind of behavior from the owner himself is completely unacceptable and leaves a very bad impression.
As customers, we expect basic courtesy and respect, especially from the owner of the place. Sadly, both the food quality and the attitude did not meet even basic expectations. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory experience, and we would not recommend this place based on our visit.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food we received had a bad smell, which immediately made us question its freshness. The sauces were extremely watery and looked nothing like proper sauces — they were more like colored water. On top of that, the food was not properly cooked, which made the entire meal unpleasant and unsafe to eat.
The washroom was also very messy and unhygienic, which reflects poorly on the overall cleanliness of the place.
What surprised me the most was that when we asked for water, they told us they charge for it. I have visited several restaurants, and water is usually complimentary. Charging for basic water service without informing customers beforehand felt unreasonable.
Overall, this was a very bad experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and decent service.

I randomly visited this restaurant and ordered Dal vada,Dabeli,Panipuri, Gujarati Thali,Puff and Kachori, Pizza sandwich. To my surprise the taste was extremely extremely extremely good.Specially for Dabeli, Panipuri ,and pizza sandwich. Gujarati Thali was also good with typical home made Gujarati food taste.Overall the food was excellent in taste and so does the quality. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I had Gujarati Thali and it was tasty and worth the price. I also tried paneer paratha which was soft and fully stuffed.

Commercial place but homemade taste and quality; totally reminds of my home

Had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and well-prepared, and the ambiance was pleasant and welcoming. Special thanks to Jeel Patel for the excellent service — very polite, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Their friendly attitude really made the experience even better. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Very authentic and tasty Gujarati food. We ordered the samosa Chana chaat, masala tea, pulav, and paneer tikka masala. Each item was unique in its taste and very delicious. A little bit low in quantity, but if you are looking for great taste, this place is highly recommended.

All three of of us had the Gujrati thali which was savory and delicious. Have never had it before and was pleasantly surprised. As a note if you don’t get lemons, you can request them to put on top as is traditional. Followed it with some buttermilk, although I think I should’ve had it concurrently to help with the spice going down.

It’s nice and clean inside, with cool designs and golden wood paneling. They even have an old, old telephone on the wall which I’d not seen in a long while.
