Nice atmosphere and good service. Not necessarily recommended for vegetarian or vegan. Hope the owners works towards adding vegetarian/vegan menu and options. Items need to have a vegetable/tofu option to accommodate plant based palate.
The menu is extensive and seems to have unique Thai dishes. but as most of them were meat, i am unable to try.
This time we tried the lunch special. The tofu peanut curry was good. but might have fish sauce.
The drunken noodles with beef seemed to be good, may not be fresh. Will try again from menu instead of lunch special.
PS: the other table had some rude customers which the manager dealt with tactfully and respectfully. Hope yo come back and have a better experience.

We’ve eaten here quite a few times and the food is usually very good. Unfortunately on this visit we didn’t experience a great dining experience. There was a table of three already eating when we arrived. Myself and my husband and the other table of three were the only ones in there. Usually at lunch time you might have to wait for a table as it’s so busy. Despite the fact we were now the only guest ordering food the service was painfully slow. We waited over ten minutes for a bottle of beer. Then my husband’s meal came out. Mine took about another five minutes. The Green Thai curry with roti came out cold. The shrimp toast on my dish was rock solid. Making it totally inedible. When the waiter came back with the now hot green curry it had obviously been microwaved as the bowl was now screaming hot. Disappointed that this place might not be as good as it once was.

Ordered the larb and the special Kua Gling, it was very good and their Thai hot spice level is actually hot, and delicious. I will try more next time!

I visited Elephant Jumps Thai Restaurant to try out some of their special dishes, but unfortunately, they didn’t quite live up to my expectations. I ordered the Beef and Tendon Spicy Noodle Soup and the Crispy Pork Belly Basil. While the presentation was nice, the flavors didn’t deliver the wow factor I was hoping for.
The service was just okay—not particularly attentive or memorable. Considering the portion sizes and the area, the prices felt a bit steep. I ended up spending over $70 for the two dishes, including tax and tip, which seemed a bit high for the overall experience.
The ambiance is decent, and the menu does offer some unique options, so it might be worth another visit to try something different. For now, it’s a mixed experience for me.

The food was pretty tasty. This spring roll was tasty. Thai iced tea was very light. Not much taste. The spicy Thai shrimp soup had some nice spice. The pork belly had some good flavor. Not spicy and wasn’t as crunchy as I have had at other places. Service was kind of slow. Seemed to be only one person taking orders, and delivering food. Overall everything was good.

A neighborhood Thai restaurant conveniently located in a shopping center near Merrifield with lots of parking space and shops, including a grocery supermarket, makes it perfect to dine after shopping. The food is comforting, the service is good, and the place is clean.

This place lives up to it’s name, it will make an Elephant jump (biologically they can’t) with joy, if it ate their food.
And no pictures to show, because food so good!
What does it say if our order is written in the restaurant contact list!
Over 9y of eating at this place, these are our favorites:
2X T7 prig sod moo shredded green pepper onion pork (watch out this is spicy!)
TV10 Pad woon sen
T6. PAaD SEE EW MOO MUG.
Green curry chicken
Cow pad moo (fried rice)

We have been dining here for several times now and for the past previous times we were always satisfied and thought this was such a gem of a Thai resto that part of Virginia . But today was a totally different experience ! The crispy pork belly which used to be their piece de resistance has gone below par. Gone is the freshness and crispness of the menu ! The second menu we ordered was the one with eggplant and tofu. The eggplant was overwhelmed with tofu . There was only a few pieces of eggplant incorporated in the main dish ! Both food were served cold ! My wife and I were totally puzzzled what happened with the quality of the food which suddenly went below par . Did they change their house chef ? We are just curious ?
Unfortunately , because of our frustration and disappointment today , June 12,2024 you just lost 2 of your loyal diners !!!

My friends and I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and we had a great experience! The people who work here are kind and passionate. They explained the authentic dishes on the menu they recommend and how to eat them. Everyone enjoyed their food and they even surprised us with cake for my friend’s birthday. Thank you
