Our first time here! We loved the decor. The wait staff was friendly. The food was delicious. The Espresso Martini was the best I’ve had anywhere. We will definitely return!

We went here for the Sushi night. It’s a very unique and interesting atmosphere. We ordered the sourdough bread with mozzarella. It was the whole loaf! A little hard to cut, but the taste and creativity was great. The sushi was very good. We also opted for dessert which was also good. I read the other reviews just now. If I had read them first, I’d probably have stayed away. Based on my experience, I’ll definitely be back!

We loved our experience at this restaurant. We went on a Saturday night. We had a california roll as our appetizer and we each had the prime rib sandwhich, which was amazing. My husband loved the mashed sweet potatos and I enjoyed the au gratin potatos. Our cocktails were wonderful. The waitress was super sweet and personable. We look forward to going back and trying a different menu item.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Owner and all staff are TERRIBLE. They make you feel like you are an inconvenience at all times and do not understand what customer service is.

We’ve been to this place a few times since it opened and never had great service. We wanted to like it. Tried to like it. Every time there was an issue. The final straw was when we were told you couldn’t take to go orders out for our children after we had been there as a big group spending a fair share. The owner herself was rude as can be and lost our group of 20 till she goes out of business and we come back to support the new team. I mean this as lovely as can be when I say I do not expect this restaurant to make it, and expect it to fail like the one she owned in town a few years ago.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I ordered the blackened cod, and it was okay but overpriced. Presentation was great, but taste was not worth $28. My son ordered a dinner roast turkey and was not good and overpriced. The turkey portion was far too small and the meal tasted cheap and generic. On the other hand, my daughter and husband liked their food. She ordered the flatbread pickled pig, and my husband ordered their special, roast beef dinner. I would say the prices were on point for those. The waitress was fine. Overall, we won’t be back for food, maybe just for drinks. I liked the raspberry chocolate martini, and my daughter also liked the non-alcoholic drink, violet beauregarde.

Creative decor! It’s like being transported into Alice in Wonderland. Three are several options of specialty drinks. Friendly staff and patrons.
I cannot wait to come back and try the food.

A breath of fresh air in a community where bar food is prevalent. The menu is imaginative and after dining twice we have
LOVED everything we ordered. The flat breads are amazing, both the peach prosciutto and the pistachio and arugula. My husband had a pastrami sandwich which was huge and loaded with pastrami. The flavor profiles are so unique. I love this place!,,

Went to the Mad Rabbit after deer hunting. Poor service, poor food, and poor management/ownership. Two people in my group ordered the burger medium and both were well done so one sent it back and ordered a salad. We tried multiple sides and they were terrible. We had the Mac and cheese (tasted like craft), the candied “whole” carrots (they were sliced thin and tasted burnt), the mashed sweet potatoes (tasted like you took a spoonful of cinnamon mixed with baby food and choked it down) and the hashed au gratin (frozen premade hash browns at best). We voiced our concerns to the server and the owner or the mom of the owner (old lady) came over and insulted our group then walked away. Finally after being insulted either the owner or the daughter (20-30 something year old) came out to give us our salad which we refused. When refused the younger one stated “well we made it for you and if you don’t take it it’s going in the trash” so we said to box it up and we’ll take it to which she refused and said she’ll “just keep it for herself” and took it away. We got our check, paid, then the same person came over and said she was sorry we didn’t enjoy ourselves but next time we need to be nicer to her staff. When we told the younger one about the insults that were said by the older one she said that it couldn’t be true but everyone at the table heard the older one insulting the person from our group. We will not ever be going back. We suggest if you read reviews you shouldn’t either unless you love overpaying for bad food, bad service, and insults.

This is my favorite restaurant to come to in the Cross Lake area, most the other stops in town just seem to copy their menu/ drink specials and I can see why. The people at Mad Rabbits clearly have enough creativity for days on end. Stop in their if you want something different than just a standard burger and fry. I personally love their scallop fettuccine and specialty “Pitty Party” Martini. No one in Cross Lake even comes close to the authenticity these guys have in their restaurant, food, and creativity.

My husband and I took our 9 and 12 year old grandsons here. We loved the decor, were greeted and seated right away. Service was awesome. Menu offered a wide variety of interesting options.
We ordered the Cheese Bomb appetizer which was huge, fresh and delicious. The side salad was full of fresh veggies and 1/2 hard boiled egg. Our craft cocktails were tasty and beautifully presented.
Our Entrees did not disappoint! Portions were hearty and each dish was full of flavor. We shared bites from each other’s selections and enjoyed them all. Although we were full and taking home three containers, we had to try the desserts which also were unique and delicious.
We dined inside although the boys spent time outside on the patio enjoying the swinging chairs during our short wait for food.
You’re going to spend a bit more but it’s not your typical burger/pizza place. It’s wonderful to have this fun option locally!
