The restaurant will stay true to what pizza fans love about New York-style pies—the crunch and the chew of the crust, the classic red sauce, the cheese pull—but the menu will stretch far beyond the standards. While one table shares a Caesar salad, some pepperoni pies and IPAs on draft, another will dive into Hoagie Toasts, a mushroom and muenster pizza inspired by a sandwich from the Old Town Bar, and soft serve with a hot-honey shell. All pizzas will be 12 inches, a break from tradition but one that will give everyone a chance to indulge in more than one slice. On tap at the bar: beer, of course, but also Lambrusco and sparkling Negronis, along with a rotating list of craft cocktails.

This spot offers delicious pies at a good price. The crust is the star of the show on both their round and square pies! We tried the Classic Cheese, Al Pastor, and the Buffalo Chicken Square.
My favorite was the Buffalo Chicken Square the crust had a crispy undercarriage, soft and fluffy middle. The blue cheese was the perfect complement.

Stretch Pizza has very flavorful pizzas. This is the work of the celebrated Chef Wylie DuFresne. Some time ago, the restaurant started serving slices all week till 5 pm. Having had a tasty slice at their branch in The Hugh, I came here to see the variety. Now this is the first time that I ordered two slices. The first was the plain which was top notch. Thin crust, flaky and tender till the last bite. Then I ordered the Sicilian with pepperoni. I counted twenty slices on this rectangular pizza. The pepperoni comes from a pasture raised farm and as I thoughtfully chewed I could taste the umami flavor of this cured salami. Each bite was ambrosial. Team Stretch made my lunch memorable. Jose at the bar who took my order conversed with me. He was both professional and amiable. Having eaten here a few times since they opened, I now look forward to having slices. The next one is the mushroom pesto although I wish the Nellie would also be a slice – one day!

Excellent pizza, some of the best we’ve had in Manhattan. The menu also includes delicious Italian non-pizza options. There is also a full bar.
Service was also friendly and attentive.

The place was nicely decorated and the pizza & garlic bread were both great. We got the Old Town pizza with a couple of dipping sauces which went really great together, especially the Stretch sauce. I wish they gave more sauce with the garlic bread but they’re probably trying to get you to buy the larger ones, which we did end up getting!

The pizzas are banging! The Metro is a good go-to! The Al Pastor is an interesting one and very tasty! The dough was crispy with chew. Savored every slice and dipped that crust in the dips!
The tiny chocolate chip cookies were a perfect sweet to finish it all off.

Very good pizza, loved the toga party. The squash appetizer was pretty good, too, and the apple pie on a pizza slice with cheese pretty cool l, but the soft serve stole the dessert show, because of its complex flavor.

We got the pepperoni and added mushrooms. Appreciated the generous amount of mushrooms! Best pizza we had visiting NYC. Would have come back the same trip if we had time and will definitely recommend to friends. We got reservations for dinner and were glad to have it.

Lovely pizza restaurant.
The combinations were interesting! We tried the corn and mushroom pizzas. The taste was amazing. And the crust was easy to eat
too! I normally leave the crust on my plate but I finished my slices all the way through!
Something different about them is that they have dipping sauces that you can order along with the pizzas and that makes the experience more memorable.
The service at this place was good and the staff was polite.
The decor and ambience were nice too.
This is a good sit down restaurant and I would definitely recommend visiting (especially before it grows in popularity)!

Fantastic! Chef’s kiss. We had the al pastor pizza — braised pork, green chili sauce, and whipped pineapple ricotta. Killer flavors. And the square pie was perfect—light and strong at the same time. Hospitality was outstanding.
