Our favorite local sushi spot! They do a lot of takeout but their restaurant is cute and cozy and we really enjoy dining in. Highly recommend the tuna tataki.

The restaurant was a hit & miss with me. The place itself was very nice & cozy & inviting, & everything looked really nice inside. The food was good & taste wise it was just right. The noodle soup was delicious as well as the shrimp tempura. Service was strange to say the least as this was my first time there trying to read through their extensive menu & I felt rushed to make a decision, & there was nobody there. I didn’t even have time to finish my appetizer when the main course was already coming felt so fast & my apps were getting cold. In the end the food was good but overall experience was sub par.

Recently renovated spot that we regular. We go here for the tuna tataki and i love the chicken teriyaki. Of course we love the sushi as well. The staff are always gracious and appreciative.

Let me start by saying I don’t like the ordering process. At all. I called ahead of time and actually made a reservation, I probably didn’t need to. Nobody else was in the entire restaurant probably just there at 6 o’clock on a Saturday night.

Maybe a first red flag? Not sure. We were seated by somebody that was very nice. And then she just walked away.

We didn’t know we had to order any other specific way. There’s a QR code you click. And then it shows you the menu. It just would come back and take the order. I don’t.

The woman finally walked by and asked us are you going to order? Which we responded, and she explain to her the order for the app. So if you’re gonna be sitting inside of my opinion. Still order for a sushi roll platter of spicy sushi, and a Pupu platter for two. Just basic fare nothing special.

No drinks, just water.

It came out very fast. Almost too fast. Like it was back there, and they just needed to heat it up, but I’m not sure.

Each item was very routine. Nothing to write home about. Solid Chinese American Pupu platter, and solid Japanese American sushi.
She came back twice to refill my water. But nothing else. And. You have to check out on the app as well. It was just a weird experience.

I don’t think we go back. When we were there, three or four phone calls. I’m assuming that’s probably for people who did takeout or delivery, but I would expect to be much busier on a Saturday night. Just my opinion. Paragraph. It was in writing. It was just a weird experience overall.

Dined in on a quiet Sunday evening. The hostess was very attentive and offered up many selections. The maki was delicious and our other items were very generously portioned. Would go back.

This is my go-to for golden lava and sesame buns as well as the best vegetarian tofu dishes in the area. I hate it when I order fried tofu and it arrives with a tough, chewy exterior and dried-out center. I always order the crispy fried tofu here, which has an awesome crunchy texture on the outside and juicy tofu on the inside, and pair it with a saucy dish for dipping, like the vegetarian ma po tofu. So good! Last night, I tried the doughnuts in pink sugar for the first time, and they tasted as good as they looked! They’re also a sure bet for crunchy sesame pancakes, better than most of the others I’ve tried in Malden.

What a nice place to go and enjoy lunch, they are kind loving and ready to make your meal with love! Take a minute to explore what a restaurant and customer service is all about. The waiter even assisted me right to my car with helping my friend who is in a wheelchair. Thank you for a great experience!

We loved dining here. Very nice place be in, it’s casual enough yet very nice and you are able to relax. The food is very good. We got sushi and some plated orders to share with the table. Excellent vegetarian sushi choices. We had the sweet potato rolls, avocado cucumber rolls, vegetable tempura rolls with nice dipping sauce and pickled ginger. Also, lo mein, chicken fingers(very nice!) and scallion pancakes that I find to be be the best around, by far, and thise come with a terrific soy ginger sauce. Everything was great and the place just has a special touch with care in choosing their ingredients where they can. We dine in and get take out and it is always top notch, very glad to have it nearby.

A very cozy place in Medford on a street corner that you’d miss if you weren’t looking for it. I was immediately greeted and sat at the bar to watch the chefs. I ordered the House Hot Sake which came out at the perfect temp and taste. I was then given a complimentary order of what seemed like an orange pickeled cabbage with slices of avocado. Very tasty! I then ordered the Sashimi Sushi Combo with a side order of sashimi octopus. The octopus was the freshest I’ve ever had and were thick slices. The rest of the meal was expertly prepared with attention to the presentation. Sashimi was again cut thick and melted in my mouth. The sushi was a crunchy roll that had a great blend of tastes. The whole meal was the perfect amount of food for a hungry person. I ended with a Sapporo beer and thanked the chefs for a wonderful dinner. I would highly suggest to have dinner here if you love sashimi! I’ll be back!

I’ve ordered takeout and dined in here a few times recently, and to my surprise, the sushi is completely different from before! The taste, the freshness of the fish, the texture and temperature of the rice—everything has improved significantly. Even the presentation for both dine-in and takeout has become more refined. I can only say that I’m very satisfied! Every bite fills me with happiness and allows me to appreciate the chef’s dedication to handling the ingredients with care.
