Let me tell you something—Duck Donuts is not just a doughnut shop. It’s a life-altering, taste-bud-seducing, “where-have-you-been-all-my-life” type of experience. I walked in thinking I was just going to grab a snack… and walked out questioning every doughnut I’ve ever had before. Krispy who? Dunkin what? No shade, but Duck Donuts is playing a different game.
The doughnuts are fresh-made, warm, fluffy clouds of pure happiness, dipped, drizzled, and topped to your wildest imagination. I’m talking maple bacon, cinnamon sugar, strawberry shortcake magic—you name it. I bit into that first one and immediately entered a new dimension where calories don’t count and diets don’t exist. I almost cried.
And I thank the good Lord above that there isn’t a Duck Donuts near me because I’d be in there DAILY like it was a part-time job. They’d know my name, my order, my mood, and probably my shoe size.
If you’re anywhere near one, RUN, don’t walk. Just don’t blame me when your willpower disappears and you start dreaming of doughnuts like it’s your soulmate.

I had no idea they actually make the donuts fresh made to order. Lots of great options and you can customize a donut however you like. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing again made fresh to order. Will definitely be back!

We have not been to Duck Donuts in years. Our last visit was one in OBX and they were ok. But this location was close to our hotel so we gave it a try. I was so glad we did. The donuts were fresh and the workers worked quickly and they did an amazing job. Every employee we came in contact with was very helpful and friendly. When we got back to the hotel the kids loved their choices and my wife loved the chocolate and peanut butter drizzle that she ordered. I hope we can make it back during our stay.

This place is a cool little shop a few doors down from a great bagel shop and Kroger. Their donuts are pretty good and they have a kiosk you order from when you walk in. Orders come out pretty quickly and the staff is kind. My only reason for 4 not 5 stars is they dip the donuts into the frosting when they are extremely hot and a lot of it runs off the donut into the box. I would definitely give then a try if you are in the area.

We drove by this place at night and said we needed to give it a try. The donuts start off as cake and then you can add toppings, they had choices or you could create your own. They had a cute little area for kids crayon drawings, a store to purchase merchandise. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They guy that made the donuts was really good and fast at his job, paying attention to his detail. Oh, did I mention that they were fresh, hot, and delicious!
