The restaurant was so clean and the setting was so fun! There’s a huge, beautiful mural on the wall that is just such a nice touch (see photos). The table options are eclectic and offer a lot of options for slightly larger groups to still dine together.
The food was soooooooooo good! And the prices are outstanding. We were able to try several sides without feelings guilty because the prices were so reasonable! Their fried cheese is a MUST! Little yummy, perfectly fried large cubes (think two normal people’s bites – my one greedy Gus bite) for under $4!!! They come with a guava ketchup that is sooooo good! We also got the fried plantain’s and these are amazingly unique and the breading is so light (I’m not 100% sure that they’re breaded – it could have been the perfect fry of the plantain and the way they were prepared but either way – superb) and they are dusted with flakes of sea salt – sooooooo yummy!
After much painful contemplation – I went with the chicken kabob plate with a side of the sticky rice sans beans (maybe I’ll try the beans next time) and the salad. I chose the lemon vinaigrette and it’s drinkable it’s so spectacular. The salad was soooooooooo fresh and the cucumbers, baby tomatoes and celery, coupled with the beautiful romaine – was one of the most delightful side options I have had in a while. The chicken was spectacular. Idk what they marinate it in – but it was so tender, so moist and so flavorful, we both were shocked because chicken, let’s be real, can be sooooo disappointing. This was not at all disappointing. The rice was sticky perfection. I doused it all in the lemon vinaigrette and mixed it all up and it was perfect.
He ordered the burger (can’t remember the name) with the sautéed onions and mushrooms and melted cheese and he said it was amazing. They had so many burger options it made me almost get one and I will definitely be trying them all in the near future. Their buns are buttery and super soft.
They have a clean bathroom pledge (see photos) and they keep it. The bathrooms are super clean, as was the entire restaurant. The young man that assisted us with ordering was so friendly and helpful. We got our food in under 10 minutes.
Side note – they have a catering menu that, after trying their food – I would definitely be interested in using them for events or family gathering. I’ve included photos of the menu that also has a card on the front for calls and questions.
I wouldn’t recommend the Cajun fries as they were too seasoned but the sweet potato tots were new to us and really good! It came with a sweet sauce and paired well with the tots. The sauce that came with the pincho burger (orange sauce) was also really good!
For desert we got the new Dulce de leche milkshake and it was smooth, perfect sweet, would recommend!
Definitely 10/10 burger place!
Our food came out super fast, hot & fresh. Every item was well-made and soooo yummy.
I ordered the steak kebab, which was marinated/seasoned well, full of flavor, tender & juicy. I chose the sweet potato tots and tostones as my sides, because they’re my faves. Hubby ordered The Hangover Burger (thick wad of fried cheese, potato strings, and cilantro sauce), and it was so rich and gooey that I demanded he share it with me lol. It was my first time trying it, and it’s probably one of the most delicious and decadent burgers I’ve had ever. Top tier!!!
On each of our trays was a small cup with a dark sauce we didn’t ask for. Curiously, we gave it a taste. Guava jam? Applesauce? Not sure… but it was nice – subtle & “fruity.” I decided to dip the tots and tostones in it, and that was an epiphany. What a sweet compliment/counterpart for dipping the salty sides in! Is that what it’s meant for? Or, did I just hack their menu?!?! No clue, but I recommend you to try it.
There’s also quite a bit of variety for the drink options – from tea, to flavored lemonades, Pepsi products from the soda fountain, and milk shakes.
Whatever you pick from the menu, you’ll enjoy an AWESOME MEAL.
