Amazing little Italian restaurant

We love going to Carini’s! Only bad thing is they not open on Sundays.My husband and I have been going here for years. Make the best Philly Cheesestake and fries are delicious as well. The special yellow sauce makes the sandwich so special in my opinion. I also love their grilled chicken salad.
Paris and Sherry took excellent care of us. The were very attentive. We never ran out of anything to drink either. True service like it used to be.
We took my 82 year old mother and she ordered a medium pizza. My oh my was it big for a medium. Momma had enough pizza left over for three more meals.
Oh and the bathroom was spic and span. It looked like something from a swanky place. Very impressed with the bathroom makeover.
If you’ve never been you should check Carani’s out. You’ll be glad you did!

We enjoyed our dinner here with our young children. The food was fresh and hot right off the grill. The garlic bread with cheese was great (the bread was really yummy). We had the Fish Filet Sandwich, and the Fettuccini Carbonara both were really good. The kids meals were a great price as well and we also ordered a to-go pepperoni pizza for our next day lunch. Great reasonable prices and very friendly service. Stop by and try this place out, especially if you enjoy the historic downtown area.

Order here if you want something from the frozen food section. Some of my food was missing. I was told they no longer sold the items yet it’s on their menu and they charged me full price. The menu that you see only under their site isn’t accurate according to the manager. She was nasty and hardly let me get a word in and tried to tell me that I didn’t pay the full price posted. I TRIED to her what was posted on the site, which is where I normally order from, and she was super rude and unaccommodating. I captured a picture of what was posted on the menu before she just changed it a few minutes ago.

I’m staying in Roanoke Rapids and took a chance ordering the Linguine Mare Monte. Carini’s gave me the hook up! Not only they gave me a lot of seafood, but the white wine garlic sauce was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

I asked for simple dips to go with my food in my delivery order and did not receive ANY. Went up to Carini’s to get the right condiments and the woman STILL GAVE ME THE WRONG DIPS!! It’s small things like that that affect how people look at a business’s service. I expected more.

I have not actually visited the location, but I have ordered from there using the Slice app. The food I have ordered has been delicious so far. It doesn’t take long to prepare and the food is hot when delivered.

We ordered a large pizza. It was super delicious and extremely filling for a 2 adults 1 child family. We ordered half a cheese pizza and had chicken to one side. So it was a half and half. I would highly recommend their pizza to anyone.

Toss up Jersey Mike tuna wrap or Carinis tuna salad. Saw fried pickles and haven’t had those in awhile. Tuna salad meatball sub decent. Onion rings good. Fried pickles awful. So overcooked the pickles turned to dust inside. Supposed to lightly fry to just crisp batter but still have pickle inside batter. Either oil too hot or in fryer too long. I threw them away. My hens did not even want them and that says a lot. I like to give reviews hoping for a change. We have a saying, if you accept medicore, that is what you will get. If you demand excellence, that is what you will get. That’s why most food in RR is medicore. I am surprised Saku Sushi is coming. Hope they are great and set a higher standard for great food. Maybe others will follow, wishful thinking.
