Smallcakes Cupcakery is such a fun spot! They have plenty of cupcake options, and every one I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. The cupcakes are light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The service is always great and friendly, too.
At around $5 per cupcake, it’s a little pricey — but honestly, they’re worth it. Plus, they offer a free cupcake for military and veterans, which is an awesome touch. Love this place!

My kids wanted cupcakes so I decided to get them some from Small Cakes. This was our first time and we will definitely go back for more. My 4 year old is very picky about desserts and she gave her vanilla cupcake 2 thumbs up. If you haven’t tried these cupcakes yet, you need to try them ASAP.

11/15/25 – Not worth the trip. Cupcakes tasted days old. Tried the cookies and cream, lemon and pink iced cupcake – all were dry. Definitely not worth the price. Major disappointment. A local grocery store chain out of Fl can make cookies and cream cupcakes that are a fraction of the cost and are actually great. So can K.

I’ve been buying cupcakes from this location for 8 years. Very disappointed that the strawberry shortcake cupcake will no longer be available. Coming from South Augusta to Evans for that cupcake for years and it’s now not available makes me sad and my friends and I are wondering if it’s really worth the drive anymore. We enjoy the customer service. We love the atmosphere but we desperately need that cupcake added back to the menu. It’s a great seller in opinion. I remember years ago as soon as that cupcake was posted available it sold out in hours. Please bring it back. It’s oh so delicious.

If you haven’t been to Smallcakes, you’re missing out Big Time! When you walk through the door, the sweet smell of sugar draws you in towards a display loaded with delectable options. The staff is knowledgeable and will help you pick out the perfect treat. And unlike Nothing Bundt Cakes, you get to choose if you want something with buttercream instead of cream cheese. As the name suggests, these really are more like small cakes than cupcakes, but there’s nothing small about the flavor. So if you’re looking for a big bite of delicious goodness, head on over to Smallcakes!!

For 3 or 4 years my son has ordered the same cake from here. They always remember us and are always friendly and welcoming. The cake is so moist (most red velvet cakes are dry to me) and delicious! What a great little hidden gem!! The employee (owner maybe?) was very kind. The shop itself is precious. I tried a lemon cupcake and a few varieties of chocolate. The cakes were moist and the icing was soft, though the lemon icing wasn’t as soft as I’d like. The showstopper was the chocolatier(?) cupcake. SO delicious. As someone on the search for the world’s best cupcakes, these are VERY high on my list. The best I’ve found in almost ten years, second only to a shop in Michigan that closed down years ago. I will definitely be back and I recommend this shop for anyone looking for a quality cupcake.
