Never in this town, new to us. Turns out a great memory was made here because of the great food, fine service, and an endearing conversation with a local teacher named Pam.

A big surprise at the end of our dinner that restored the dings we have seen lately in fellow humans…

Well that local teacher I mentioned earlier, finished her meal and then paid $25 of our bill.

Where does that ever happen!?!

It happens at Mi Casita! Thank you teacher Pam! You are now part of a very fond memory shared at Mi Casita!! And teachers rock!!

Overall, for sure this was a treasure of a restaurant that we found along our way. Wasn’t sure but these reviews do not lie, really good food!

Great service and no wait as we arrived around 6pm.

We all noticed the pride of ownership a rarity now a days. Thank you Mi Casita for being there when we needed something really special!

Long drive big surprises! So happy with this little treasure along I 10!

Will be back!

Update: Traveling through again and so happy I marked this gem on Google Maps!! Did not disappoint! Felt like we were welcomed into someone’s home when we came through the door. Felt like family had a great conversation about traveling with our zoo crew across the country and boating. Our friend and owner, Adonna at Mi Casita made this leg of the trip. We will be back again! Thank you Adonna and family⛵️

This unassuming little restaurant has great atmosphere, great food and great service. The food was some of the best Tex-Mex my wife and I have ever had. We especially recommend the Chili Relleno!

I really want to give this place a good review. What can I say? I didn’t expect Mexico level food (having lived there for years) but I did expect more from the highest rated mexican restaurant in Ft Stockton. From the salt less chips to the generic cheddar cheese sauce mascarading as “queso”
When our food came it did not taste bad, it simply did not taste much at all. Bland and unseasoned.
Poor inattentive servervice, including seating us before another family that had been waiting way before us. They offer you a little cup of free ice cream but then make you basically stand in the kitchen and wait for someone to take your credit card payment. I had the distinct pleasure of watching a server (i think owner) and the cook argue through the pass through about what food had gone out and what had not.

$30 for 2 plus tip. Generally disappointed.

Passing through. Just stopped to get dinner to take back to the hotel. Absolutely the best Mexican food we have ever had. They were very friendly. They even gave us a dog treat for our dog.

Stopped here on out road trip back to Austin from Carlsbad NM. Food is good and so are prices. Staff is friendly and they were able to accommodate 12 of us without problem. No horchata but a lot of menu options. My 2 year old loved the decoration

I had great expectations based on the ratings I saw online but was unfortunately quite disappointed. The service was actually not bad – I ordered my Chicken Fajita dinner plate to go and got it within 10 minutes. However, the food was not good at all. One of the worst fajitas I ever had. The chicken tasted like broiled meat instead of the regular grilled style, and the veggies were pretty bad as well. Not sure how other dishes would taste but based on my experience, not recommended.

Basic restaurant. Ordered tacos. Tasted fine. Felt like the taco shells were store purchased. Didnt taste like made there and a little stale. But the service was excellent and friendly.

Probably the best part of Fort Stockton. We were there only for the evening and decided to adventure out and try a local place and were so blown away by the food here! We will 10/10 come back to Fort Stockton just to eat at Mi Casita.

Passing through Ft Stockton for one night. Tried after 10+ hours driving, and just wanted some serious good Mexican food.
This was the perfect place. Friendly service, quaint small dining room, and excellent food served quickly and with a genuine smile. Highly recommend stopping here.
