We ordered a Gender Reveal Cake for the 20th of December. The cake turned out beautiful and was delicious. Moist and not too sweet. Just how I we like it. Definitely will visit this place again. Thank you guys for the awesome job on our cake.

After hearing about the bakery in 2017 on Ghosts of Shepardstown, with the building serving as a hospital etc., we decided when ever we are in the area we’ll stop by if still in business. December 2025 we did, absolutely the best donuts. Nice, friendly establishment. Again, when through the area we will be there.

Oh my goodness, I had no idea this place existed until a friend and I visited today with our children! Excellent customer service, wonderful welcoming environment! Loved the food and desserts display! I bought the coconut cupcake, lemon cupcake, the sausage & mozzarella roll and 2 bottles of chocolate milk, everything was DELICIOUS! Absolutely DELICIOUS! Fresh and DELICIOUS! We will definitely be back!

I got a mocha that I didn’t care for, it didn’t have enough chocolate BUT the bakery selection was amazing!! If you can’t find a sweet treat here, then you don’t have a sweet tooth!! I got a cookie and it was soft and delicious!! I’ll probably stop in tomorrow on my way out of town!

Was my first time experience visiting from out of town and was not disappointed one bit! Very nice selection of sweet and savory baked goods along with some hot and cold beverages. The staff member was very nice and sweet, helping explain the most popular options, along with some of her favorites. I opted for a blueberry cream cheese Danish and a coffee cake with buttercream and ate even the crumbs since they were absolutely delicious! I cannot wait to return and try some of their cakes and savory treats, like a yummy looking quiche I spotted! A must try!

Wow. Come on when you hear “good” things but then you get “great foods” you’re like WOW, but it wasn’t WOW it was TWICE the wow that you could ever expect from tasting baked goods. How do they make it taste that good? A shout out for their specially made Carroll’s stout cheesecake to be found at the Bavarian brothers brewing( Bavarian Inn) nearby but made by The Shepherdstown Sweet shop bakery. Kudos to that creation.

Service was very friendly. It is a cute bakery. I’m a little bit picky when it comes to bake goods. I question the cannolis and danish were fresh the day we bought them. It didn’t bother my kids, they loved them anyways.
