The service was phenomenal, and the food? Perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. The brisket sandwich is hands-down some of the best smoked meat on Texas toast, so tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The pulled pork sandwich had the ideal balance of smoky goodness paired with fresh coleslaw. And let me just say… the apple-pickles are uniquely delectable! They paired beautifully with our sandwiches and homemade chips.
Our matching Apple Freshers were incredibly refreshing, the perfect complement to brunch. Of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert! With so many beautiful options, it was hard to choose, but we went with the Banana Pudding Apple, Butter Pecan Apple, and Apple Praline Pie. All I can say is, you will not be disappointed. Every bite was absolutely delicious.
We were also blessed to meet the owner, who is super kind and personable. Hearing her story and the inspiration behind launching her business made the experience even more special. She has truly created a gem.
So glad my hubby found this spot for a lovely brunch date. We will definitely be back! ✨
For food, we ordered the croissant sandwiches (one with bacon, one with sausage), the spinach quiche, and the apple-ickles—all of it was very tasty. I’d definitely come back for the same drinks and food, though next time I might branch out and try something new. Highly recommend stopping by! ☕
It was so cute in there. The granny Smith green was everywhere including the bag to hold all of my items.
The owners were sooooo nice.
Unfortunately, someone had taken advantage and scammed them for a surprise bag earlier. We got it figured out and I was able to get some really great items.
The Apple Pie!!! Oh my goodness!!
My bag was so heavy. The crust was so flaky and good. The apples! You could tell these are fresh baked granny smiths in this pie. Perfect balance of sweet, tart, and cinnamon.
The cupcake/ cookie with the crumble on top and the apple pie filling was so good. It is deep like a cupcake, but is not ready. It is more like a cookie with filling.
And finally, the cinnamon roll with apples in the top. It was like those danishes. It was good heated up slightly. It also had the flavor of apple cinnamon throughout the whole thing.
I received a menu of the bistro items. I will be back to try the veggie wrap.
I would love to see more vegetarian friendly options, but I will be bringing my meat eaters to try the other items for sure.
Afterwards we sat to eat what we thought would be a decent meal. We ordered brisket sandwich on a bun, it was choppy and clearly they added some other unknown meat in it which had a strange texture and taste, the fried chips were soggy and limp with lots of sodium. We got smoked queso with no smoke taste and they used extra velveeta cheese, not the good cheese. The salad was soggy as they added the apple cider vinaigrette dressing on a bed of mixed soggy spring greens lettuce and my quiche was full of large chunks of dry turkey. Initially l planned to get a pastry for dessert but the food was so awful that l quickly changed my mind. Also they put out a plate of apple strudel cake pieces after my friend and l ordered 50.00 worth of bad tasting food and no one asked us if we wanted a sample.
As l left headed home in my car, my stomach started cramping so hard that l had to pull over to a Walgreens and ran into thevbathroom before my stomach exploded.
I have never had such awful food before and left more than half of it on the plate.
Do better manager/owner before you end up shutting down,
And since you told us you didn’t want to open up the day after thanksgiving, then perhaps you shouldn’t have.
I ordered Turkey quiche $4.75 but rang up as $6 & a whole bunch of other stuff totaling $50. That was just the lunch part and I planned to order several desert items after we ate our lunch. The owner also mentioned that she usually has some samples out but not today. The lady at the register had trouble ringing my order. I was patient w her & owner but it didn’t matter. While we sat & ate our lunch someone came in and they offered them samples. We just got bad etiquette & service & I kept taking the high road & said its ok & np. But I refused to buy any deserts bc I don’ trust the gaslighting. The queso tastes like rotel & velveta. The quiche filling texture was weird and turkey flavorless, the crust was the only good part. The brisket tastes like Sysco or something from the frozen food grocery store quality. The balsamic dressing on the salad was nasty. They need to stay out of the lunch business. I did try a piece of the apple strudel & was not impressed. The owner never made any apologies about her price error. I cannot recommend this place.
