We were greeted at the door and given orientation. The young lady at the register knew her stuff and was very helpful. The staff at the table were very attentive. We were served delicious cheese biscuits after sitting at table.

We ordered the BBQ sandwich with sides of fries and potato salad, the baker and brisket salad. The BBQ sandwich was good, the baker needed more meat to equal its cost and more sauce (sauce was on table), the salad was perfect with the BBQ ranch dressing (didn’t care for the croutons flavor).

Overall a good dinner experience.

This place was weirdly awesome! Staff were all lovely, food came out almost immediately, and everyone at the table liked what they got. The queso tastes like real cheese (not just the usual melted wax vibe), and my catfish was very good. We will be back!

We came in with a large group. The ordering process is at th register. The woman taking the orders charged us incorrectly for 2 drinks. My wife asks he to read back the order and she actually told us NO. She then proceeded to lecture my wife on the ordering process. My wife tried to explain that she said that she wanted the drinks as the drinks for the kids meals. The lecture continued. She finally got a manager who authorized the refund (which was incorrect). Our food came out quickly and hot. Our meals, brisket and brisket sandwiches were 70% fatty. The collard greens were good. The macaroni and cheese was also good. The restaurant should definitely reconsider who they have as the 1st customer contact.

Entering Jim N’ Nicks you can just feel the newness in the air. It’s clean and the staff are all consistently helping with the flow of things. The amount of people that ask the same questions though is a bit overwhelming when you’re in conversation with someone else. Someone named Daniel asked us so many questions that eventually he started saying, “you guys finding everything okay?” It was funny but in a not so funny way after the 5th time.

There are many positions up front and the woman even though she was nice she didn’t know much about the menu. I asked her what was in their house salad she said, “It’s only cheese, tomatoes, bacon and croutons.” My salad also had cucumber and some sort of nut concoction that almost blended in with the bacon. If I was allergic to nuts they would’ve had a HUGE problem on their hands.

The food is consistently good though but I’m definitely not a fan of their turkey, chili or sausage and I haven’t ate the brisket separately yet.

The ribs and smoked chicken are my favorite meats here but the burger, nachos (minus the crema) and smoked wings are great too. The greens, Mac and baked beans surprised me because most BBQ joints can’t do sides right. Oh, and this may seem small but The lettuce for the salad was fresh and that was a major plus for me. I just tried the BBQ corn and baked potatoes and those are added to the list of likes. The corn has a major kick though so be prepared and the baked potato was perfectly cooked even though it’s huge!

The biggest downside is waiting in line to order. It’s confusing on rather or not a tip should be left but clearly they’re in a shift pool upfront.

I’ve had this place only one other time and it was alright. I tried it again bc it was closer than dickies. I got the pulled pork sandwich. Was super excited to use my new bbq sauce despite the very soggy bun. The first bite i took had a bone in it. So I started looking in the sandwich for more bones. What do I find? PAPER. A lot of paper. Half the sandwich was paper. You might say that looks like skin maybe. Nope it’s paper, I ate it. If anyone has accidentally ate paper before from eating the wrapping on something else you’ll know. It’s chewy and weird. This was paper. Idk who made the food but they need to relearn what is edible and what is not

It is very rare if ever that I give a review these days. However this location deserves a shout out. The food the service and the drinks are top tier! S/O to Kara the fab, fantastic and fun bartender who made our night with good reccomendations, good drinks and tons of great convo including some stuff to binge watch on a day off. As a recent transplant I am so excited to have discovered Kara and this spot. It is not the name that got me in the door it is the amazing staff and expierience! We will be regulars going forward! So glad I came in tonight. Keep it up Savannah Jim and Nicks team, you all rock!!!!

Food was delicious! I had Jim’s Original Smoked Turkey sandwich with BBQ corn and fries. I’ve eaten at many Jim n Nicks but this was the best tasting by far to include the free bread muffins. Staff was all very friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back to this location soon!!

Finally, Jim N Nick’s is on the Southside of Savannah. Extremely Happy!!!!!! about this location. Not a fan of the ordering in line then sit idea, it’s a new concept however the food comes to the table so fast after ordering. The food same great quality and taste as Charleston and Pooler. Nice portion sizes as well. Customer service was patient, smiling faces, and a willingness to assist when needed. Everyone chips in to service customers. Keep it up!!! I gave atmosphere a 3 because of the flies that come in from the new beautiful bar window. Maybe a magnetic screen and a space for disabled to sit and order versus standing and ordering.

We love Jim N Nicks! We eat here at least 3 or more times a week. There is a variety of different flavors of food and it is consistently delicious. I am usually greeted with Bettina’s smiling face and she has a very personable touch. All of the employees are always so sweet and have a willingness to accommodate.
