I visited on Saturday 28/02/26, a party of two people. From the moment you step into the hotel and up until you leave, it is a completely spotless experience. We were seated in the balcony which offers an extensive view of Athens and is properly heated. The food was tasty and well executed, there is an extensive list of spirits and the staff is very attentive. Overall, a very pleasant evening and I will be definitely back.

Last night at Tudor Hall I went for the degustation with pairing and it felt less like “a dinner” and more like a perfectly edited short film: Athens on the horizon, lights low, service gliding, and every course landing with purpose.

The food is Michelin-level technical, but what impressed me most is that it never hides behind technique. It’s clean, confident, and properly delicious.
• Corn salad / chorizo / corn foam: sweet–smoky–spicy, with a foam that tastes like summer, not like a trick.
• Smoked eel tartare / pickled cucumber: silky smoke snapped into focus by bright acidity and crunch.
• Tarama / kombu jam / caper: deep umami, sharp salt, and that addictive “one more spoon” tension.
• Chicken beignet & deconstructed tzatziki: comfort food wearing a tailored suit—crispy, airy, and refreshing in layers.
• Semi-cured bonito / Aegina pistachio sauce / pear: my highlight—sea depth, nutty richness, then a clean fruity lift that keeps it elegant.
• Balik salmon tartare / cauliflower bavarois / sake veil / horseradish “emotion”: delicate, precise, and then—boom—horseradish as a perfectly timed spark, not aggression.

And the pairing? That’s where the experience takes off. Each glass doesn’t just “match” the dish it reframes it: smoke becomes cleaner, salinity becomes more crystalline, spice becomes silkier.

You finish courses thinking, this dish just became more itself.

If there’s such a thing as the most complete 1★ experience in Greece, Tudor Hall is right in that conversation: warm, sharp, inspired—and effortlessly high-end.

Rarely does a Michelin-starred restaurant remind the diner why reverence for cuisine exists in the first place, yet this establishment accomplishes exactly that. From the moment one is received, the service operates with quiet precision—attentive without intrusion, deliberate without pretension—demonstrating an understanding that true hospitality is an art of restraint.

The side dishes, so often relegated to afterthought, are treated here with intellectual seriousness and respect. While one would not dare to think they were the highlight of the meal, even in the face of the eloquent main dishes, these were the show stoppers.

The lobster, in particular, arrives not as spectacle, but as revelation. Perfectly executed, the chef honors the integrity of the ingredient. The lobster was showcased in its truest form to allow its natural sweetness and texture to speak with clarity and authority. It is hard to execute delicious, creative dishes. It is almost impossible to perfect an ingredient. This place did it.

This was not merely a meal, but a reminder that when craft, discipline, and humility align, cuisine transcends sustenance and becomes expression. Such experiences are rare—and worth remembering

I must say if this restaurant wants to survive in this generation, they need to step up their game. They have to understand the customers of today have certain dietary restrictions and have to be flexible to adapt to their needs. I dined at the restaurant with my partner and he is lactose intolerant. Why give the option to include dietary options when making an online reservation – only to be told by the waitress « I’m sorry we only have certain options ». We wanted to get the dégustation menu but had to forego it as the chef is unwilling to switch out the cheese option. The place was not even packed, I can count the number of tables occupied. How difficult it is to pivot and come up with an alternative to the cheese platter? We are in 2025, I felt like we were dining in a restaurant with service and flexibility that felt backwards, like 2,500years ago – even the acropolis felt more modern in this aspect. The cocktails were mid – we had the « summer essence » and « the last cocktail ». Better to go to Baba au rum, they are listed on the world’s top 50 bars and their cocktails were . The only redeeming dish was the entree of langoustine and the main that had cod and lobster (both dishes pictured). We found this restaurant through the Michelin guide, boy am I disappointed with them. Did they eat with their eyes closed?!

This place is a a Michelin star restaurant for a reason. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and took the 10 course option. It did NOT disappoint. So many rich flavors and combinations that I couldn’t pick a favorite. It’s pricey but worth it. The view from the balcony was incredible, the paino created a romantic setting, and the service was great. Also, the Hugo spritz here wa on point, probably my favorite ever. Now that strawberry dessert! Oof! So damn good. Strawberry made in every way possible, it was was delicious.

Dinning at the Tudor Hall, a one-star Michelin restaurant, was a great experience, with exquisite cuisine that last a great impression. The restaurant is located at the 7th floor of the King George Hotel.

A tasting and a la carte menu are available. We selected a la carte as we do not eat meat.

All the dishes have a nice presentation and are tasteful. All the staff is attentive, quick to respond, polite and friendly.

Seating at the veranda is delightful and the view of the Acropolis is a plus. I recommend the restaurant for business, romantic or simply to enjoy a pleasant dinner.

One of the best “elegant” restaurants in Athens, with a degustation menu and “a la carte”. We orderder “a la carte”, creating our own “degustation menu” with the waiter. Some dishes were 10/1, specially the tomato. Service is excellent, and with Acropolis view at night is amazing.
Although a bit expensive for Athens, is a Micheline star restaurant with great quality. Cocktails were also great.

From the moment we stepped into Tudor Hall, we knew we were in for something special. Nestled above the city with a sweeping view of the Acropolis, the ambiance was nothing short of breathtaking — refined, serene, and steeped in timeless elegance.

The menu was a beautiful dialogue between Greek tradition and contemporary sophistication. Each dish was a tribute to technique and creativity, plated like art and rich in soul. The flavors were nuanced, balanced, and deeply thoughtful — nothing felt accidental. It’s rare to find cuisine that speaks so clearly of passion.

But what truly elevated our evening was the remarkable team behind the experience.

A heartfelt thank you to Michael, Theodora, Heleina, Demi, and George — each of you brought a unique warmth and grace that made us feel more like honored guests than diners. Your attentiveness, sincerity, and quiet confidence were unforgettable. The service flowed effortlessly, with impeccable timing, thoughtful recommendations, and genuine care.

A special thanks to Michael, who curated a wine experience that was truly one of a kind. He introduced us to rare and exquisite Hingarian and Greek wines we would have never discovered on our own — each glass perfectly complementing the journey of flavors on our plates. His knowledge and passion for wine added a whole new dimension to the evening, and it’s something we’ll remember long after the last sip.

You all made our evening not just a meal, but a memory — and we’re deeply grateful.

Tudor Hall is not just a restaurant. It is a celebration of Athens itself — elegant, historic, and full of heart.
