I’m not an expert on Cajun Food but have visited several places when going trough Louisiana….and this Bergeron’s Jambalaya and Boudin balls (regular) are by far the best I ever tasted in Louisiane…I took home Alligator sausage and Seafood pickers that I’m sure will be tasty as the other things there..
Thumbs up

I have been coming here since they’ve opened. I love the pork crackling and the chicken cracklings , there have been a couple of times that I went & the cracklings were not fresh or over seasoned. “So on 01/19/2026 I decided to stop by after work around 4:20 pm. I asked The lady behind the counter, can I taste one of the cracklings because they are not always fresh and she stated no ,they are too expensive for us to let you try one. Another reason why I wanted to try one was because a few days prior, I came in and I was about to buy the green beans. They looked very tasty so I asked the young lady behind the counter. Can I taste them? Good thing I did because they were full of sugar. If I wanted a cake I would have went to the bakery. I have been coming to this place spending my hard earned money since they opened day one and for her not to let me taste. One of the cracklings I will not be coming back to this place ever again pissed off customer

I will say the service look and feel of the store/ restaurant was amazing but as for the pork cracklings pass. I know it’s hard to find real good cracklings but I will say I found the worst and I stopped early thinking they would be even a little fresh so I got 1/2 pound so I could share, well I could of bought 8 single pieces and had left overs.
The search for good not even great ones continue.

Good food! Kinda on the pricey side for lunch, but you get a lot of food for the price. 9/10 would go again!

I don’t think there’s any bad food at this place. For the flavor alone it’s worth the drive. Service was good too in 4/2025. The jambalaya was heavenly and the chicken bites were perfect. This is QUALITY Cajun food on-tha-go, so if you don’t like or don’t eat meat this isn’t for you. As far as fast food goes, if this was closer to home I’d go here “only” over all the other fast food chains no doubt.

Such amazing food!! The gumbo the potatoes and the other stuff I don’t even know what it was. The map is wrong it’s on the corner across from the gas station.

I called there to order and a associate said they were about to close, so I decided to drive over there and realized that associate lied they had people inside eating and people walking in,that’s not a good look for a new establishment and people talks in garyville.

Great place to eat. Be careful though, you’ll go in for breakfast and come out with meat pies, boudin ball, and a chicken stuffed with goodies! Every single thing I ate from there was 10/10 on flavor, moisture, and price!

Will never spend my money in this place ever again. Did not dine in this place, just went to buy some pre-made frozen meats. Haven’t tried everything I bought yet, but one item I picked up was a 1/2 of a chicken stuffed with what the package said was crawfish and rice. Well after cooking it, first off I have seen more crawfish accidently dropped on the floor at a crawfish boil, not to mention it should be against the law to use such small crawfish, then I noticed maybe 30 percent of what was supposed to be crawfish was actually extremely small shrimp, and this was like 35/36 dollars, a total rip off. Never again for me!

My favorite boudin is a plain white rice boudin, when I was younger my dad would bring home boudin. Back then we lived in the Lafayette area. The boudin had a decent flavor that we can never find anywhere we stop. But sometimes it I find the taste at Billy bobs or Bergerons
