Date night, night before Valentine’s. Good way to get the reservation time that u want.
Okay here we go… Wanted to go fancy tonight and this place was nice. Staff was friendly and food was good. We both had the chopped Wedge Salad and Meatballs. My wife had the cedar plank salmon with a side of brussel sprouts. I had the Cheese Tortilini seafood toppings with a side of grilled asparagus. Big portions so we didn’t have room to try their desserts so sad. But we did have cocktails to start the evening. Espresso Martini and TX Whisky neat.
P.S. cool place a little pricey.
P.P.S. been to a lot of speakeasys, I would give them a suggestion to make it more private.

Came for a birthday meal and was pleasantly surprised most resturaunts claim to have “wagyu” but when asked for the certification they happily provided. Service was impeccable food was delicious. The sous chef even humbled my request to see the steak and came to the table to show off a beautiful piece of meat. A bit of an expensive trip but well worth the money from the atmosphere to the frendly staff to the food that was prepared immaculately!

First I just want to preface, the food is incredible. The service was also very good! HOWEVER… the wait staff seem to have gotten what I will call the “Hooters treatment”. Many of the waitresses are wearing uniforms that are… inappropriate for a restaurant that sells $100-150 plates. Push up bras with very exposed cleavage. I understand this is appealing to people at some places, but it’s something you might expect to see at more of a sports bar, not a place that sells Waygu for $100.

This is our regular date night spot, and it never fails to deliver a wonderful experience. Last night we ordered almost exclusively the chef specials, along with a few old favorites, and we were so overjoyed by our meal and left so satisfied. John was our server, and he is so kind and funny and efficient. Made great suggestions and kept our meal coming out at a great pace. Thanks to the whole team, and big shout out to the chef and sous chef, we always love what they come up with for specials. Will keep coming here for date night.

The decor is stylish with modern/industrial/classical touches. Chandeliers, dark wood and black tablecloths are enhanced by a beautiful bar and vintage portraits.

Couldn’t be more delighted. I had driven 8 hours, was starved, and decided to treat myself. I think I stumbled (ok, Google research stumble) upon the best restaurant in West Texas. As soon as I walked in I knew I was in for a treat. Staff are well trained and exceptional. Cool ambiance with a mix of vintage + modern. Food was highly executed. I made it a point to chat up the staff and happened to meet the GM (later revealed as the owner, Jared). He knows how to run a great restaurant!

Great, attentive service. Even while completely slammed, the staff made sure I had everything I needed. Amazing drink selection, and the team offered helpful insight and recommendations. The meal was awesome. I wish this could be a weekly thing, but it’s definitely worth the price. I’m already looking forward to my next dinner here.

We had reservations for our 55th wedding anniversary on March 7th, a Saturday night. We were seated at table 56 My wife ordered the Chilean Seabass, which was good. I ordered the TX Wagyu Skirt Steak which was one of the “specials” for the night .
My steak was tough and could barley cut it much less chew it.
The waiter and manager were very apologetic, in fact he owned up to the fact he had that cut of meat the night before and found it tough. They offered another steak, I refused, too disappointed at this point. They did discount the meal and threw in a free dessert. Questionable whether or not we’ll go back.

We chose The Metropolitan in Amarillo to celebrate our anniversary, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. They even put a beautiful rose on our table for our anniversary. We started with the crab cakes, which were full of flavor and perfectly prepared.
For our entrées, we had the Sea Bass and the Prime Ribeye. The Sea Bass was hands down the best I have ever had—cooked to perfection and topped with an incredibly flavorful glaze that made every bite amazing. The Ribeye was just as impressive—juicy, rich, and expertly cooked. We also enjoyed the Harvest Moon cocktails, which were smooth, refreshing, and beautifully crafted.
What truly made the night remarkable was the staff. Our waitress, Katyn, was amazing—attentive, kind, and made us feel so well taken care of. Brandi also checked in on us throughout the evening and was wonderful. The Manager Jared was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations that made our dining experience even better.

What a wonderful birthday dinner! We felt welcome immediately even though our Lyft driver got us there early. Shout out to Katyn, our server. She is amazing! She timed our dining experience perfectly. We had Old Fashioneds and caprese w/ heirloom tomatoes to start. My husband and I both ordered filets (cooked to perfection!), shared the truffle Parmesan risotto and sautéed green beans. Everything was delicious! We never felt rushed. The owner, Jared came over to ask how we were doing and if we were enjoying our meal. I loved the confetti decorating our table for my bday☺️Also, the crème brûlée was delicious. Thank you to all the staff, what a great find in Amarillo!
