We had the absolute BEST experience hosting our salon Christmas dinner here! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 18. They graciously allowed us to come in early so we could set up tables and decorate, which truly made the night feel so special and personal for our team.
What really stood out was how they encouraged us to take our time—“stay, enjoy your quiet time”—and never made us feel rushed. They even helped us take pictures, which meant so much and helped capture memories we’ll cherish forever. It truly turned into a memorable, meaningful night for our entire salon family.
The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The calamari appetizer was a huge hit, and the shrimp scampi was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The signature drinks were beautifully crafted, the wine and champagne were perfect, and dessert was the cherry on top. Our favorites were hands down the bread pudding and the cheesecake—both were incredible!

What an absolute TREAT it is to now have this fantastic restaurant in our neighborhood. We had been wishing for a restaurant of this quality, ambiance and style for years . . . and voila it finally materialized. We have now been over half a dozen times, and have made it our designated celebration spot). The food and service have been both consistent and delicious . . . Not to mention an amazing list of signature cocktails, full bar and fantastic wine selection. We now feel like family when we go. My only call out would be that it can get pretty noisy, not a lot of soft surfaces to absorb the sound. Now don’t get me wrong, it has been busy every single time we have gone (which makes us so happy that it is being so well received). I would highly recommend investing in a few sound dampening acoustic ceiling tiles or something along those lines. That would truly solve the issue. Other than that, we are just thrilled and wish it all of the success it deserves.

Wanted to try this place out, because I’ve been to their location, Alex’s Kitchen, in Missouri City a few times and love it. There I usually get their pasta with clam sauce and really enjoy.
Maximiliano’s has the same great service and familiar menu. Wait staff seemed very attentive and friendly, which is always nice. Food leans towards an Italian American style menu and it’s nice to have something different in the neighborhood. However, I was a little disappointed in the dish I ordered for the first visit. I ordered the Pasta Alex, which is a fettuccine pasta dish with Italian sausage crabmeat vodka sauce and parmesan cheese. The waiter recommended it and gave it a great review. It was cooked well and looked great, but I felt like it missed on seasoning and flavor, especially the Italian sausage. Not sure if the sausage is made in house, but it just didn’t have any flavor to it. My wife had the scallops and she really loved her choice, as did my daughter (not sure what she got, but I don’t recall her having any complaints.)
I’ll definitely go back, and recommend for folks to give it a try. I think I’ll stick with my go to, the pasta with the clam sauce and hopefully it’s as good as it is at Alex’s Kitchen.

On Friday we went to dinner and had the pleasure of being served by Valentina, our waitress, who made the whole experience amazing. We ordered chicken piccata and hanger steak, and both dishes were delicious. Even though the restaurant was very busy, Valentina remained attentive and professional, making sure we had everything we needed. Her service is one of the best I’ve seen, and it really made our meal even more special. Definitely excellent food and impeccable service. We will definitely be back!

We have been patrons at the Mothership for a few years now, and very big fans of Chef Alex and the owner’s family that run the restaurant. So we were very excited to have a new concept in the neighborhood. All the expectations of excellent and unassuming service have translated wonderfully. Great space with a good bar and a private dinning room. Food was amazing and, impossible as it sounds, a step up from Alex’s kitchen. We had the scallops, snapper, the carpaccio and the chicken parm. Everything was perfect. Beautiful risotto, delectable desserts. I highly recommend the limoncello cake.
I could never say enough good things about the family that owns and operates Alex’s kitchen and Maximiliano’s. They are kind of heart and generous of spirit. Their hospitality knows no limits and it’s an absolute Joy every time we visit.

Lovely restaurant. Food was fantastic. My husband got the green salad – the citrus dressing was to die for. The veal piccata and Max’s bolognese were both delicious. We went on Valentines Day and the service was quick. The carrot cake was delicious – not your typical super sweet carrot cake.
