My experience at Leo’s is like no other. A genuine feeling of nostalgia, and home is deep in my heart as a resident living in the original Resturant in Bristol. The feeling of family and love is so much more to me. Sentimental. History. Its all there. Leo’s grandson Paul is a true gem carrying on this piece of history. Pictures of his family, the original menu, and house where the Resturant stool on state street are to the left when walking in. Continuing some of the original recipes and more. I am so happy my mom and my sister got to spend some lovely time with the owner today. It truly was a core memory created.

Excellent little place with big time flavor! Wife had the chicken Parm and I had the veal alla Gina and both dishes were perfect. Beer selection is a bit thin, but we were able to find decent options. Wait staff was also excellent, recommending multiple dishes and easily explaining intricacies of both dishes.

This was pretty good! The waitress was super polite and attentive, the Shirley temples were delicious and we got super soft complimentary bread with butter! The appetizers were great as well. The Caesar salad was good, just nothing remarkable. The wait was also pretty long, but I don’t think that is a normal thing. Overall, if you can’t find anywhere else I would stop here however I think there are better places in the area.

My friends and I were up there for a Porch Fest and we went in to check the place out and grab a drink. We needed to use the bathroom first and they gave us the evil eye. The manager was really rude. Inside is dated, unattractive, and no bar area, so we had drinks outside. My friend decided to get food. Some of our other friends joined us. We moved two outdoor tables together, to accommodate 7 of us. The manager came out and said we can’t do that. My friends all ordered food and seemed to like it. I just ordered Prosecco, which was a good choice. Small portions didn’t impress me. The waitress made a mistake and and gave my friend regular fries with her sandwich, we had clearly asked for sweet potato. She came out with a plate and scraped the wrong fries off my friends plate with her other food on it, and brought out a separate plate with the sweet potato fries. Honestly, ANY good restaurant would’ve left the other fries. I’ll never go there again. Way too many great restaurants in the area to waste my money there.

It’s been awhile since our last visit to Leo’s but so happy we returned! The restaurant was decorated nicely with hanging lights in all of the front windows. Our waitress, Mya was very friendly and helpful. We started with a cheese pizza, extra crispy and then our entrees were the baked lasagna and the chicken Marsala. Yum!
We will definitely return and highly recommend you give it a try!

The Italian Baked Fish was outstanding! I was hesitant to order it as I don’t like an overwhelming marinara sauce. Instead, it was light, yet very tasty letting this perfectly cooked fish stand out! I ate every bite along with the mashed potatoes and excellent spinach side. The calamari appetizer was also very good and the sauce was perfect for dipping their lovely bread.

Small restaurant, fresh food and plenty of GF options. The restaurant is small and was short staffed (holiday weekend), but the staff was upbeat, friendly, and accommodating. We had a delicious meal of lobster ravioli, linguine in clam sauce, fish and chips and GF Buffalo pizza. I felt like I had been invited to a delicious home cooked Italian meal. We will definitely visit on our next visit.

During my recent visit to Leo’s Ristorante, I had the opportunity to savor a variety of dishes that collectively painted a picture of the establishment’s culinary prowess. The Pomegranate Martini, featured as the Cocktail of the Month, stood out with its well-executed blend of sweet and tangy flavors. The visually appealing drink set a positive tone for the meal ahead. Moving on to the appetizers, the Calamari was a standout dish, boasting a perfect balance between a crispy exterior and a tender interior. Accompanied by a zesty dipping sauce, it made for an enjoyable start to the dining experience.
My friend and I decided to share our entrees. The Pasta alla Antoinetta, showcasing Italian sausage and rabe, demonstrated a commitment to authentic flavors. The savory Italian sausage and robust rabe melded seamlessly, creating a hearty and satisfying dish. The pasta, cooked to perfection, provided a solid foundation for the flavors to shine. Then, the Linguini with White Clam Sauce was a seafood lover’s delight. The al dente linguini paired with a rich and flavorful clam sauce offered a well-rounded and enjoyable dining experience.
Concluding the meal with an Almond Moka Cappuccino was a delightful choice. The almond undertones added a subtle and pleasing twist to the classic cappuccino, while the velvety foam on top provided a comforting and indulgent finish. Throughout the dining experience, Leo’s Ristorante demonstrated attention to detail, emphasizing genuine flavors and satisfying portions.
In summary, Leo’s Ristorante offers a commendable dining experience, combining well-crafted dishes with a focus on authenticity. The diverse array of flavors, from the refreshing cocktail to the hearty pasta dishes and the satisfying cappuccino, make it a worthwhile destination for those seeking a satisfying and flavorful meal. I look forward to returning to explore more of their culinary offerings in the future.
