It was a good dinner in general. BYOB. But I’ve never been served warm sushi before, which was a bit off-putting. The server was really nice. Was a clean place – eclectic crowd.
I don’t know I’ll be able to get passed the fact that my sushi was served warm from having sat so long before being served. Not sure I’d go back for that reason alone.

Masamoto is great for sushi, and has a great reasonable lunch menu. The seafood salad was very good, and the general tso chicken lunch special was crisp with flavor. Good service, and plenty of parking located right off route 202.

Great prices, decent portion size, and fresh tasting sushi. There were plenty of different rolls on the menu, and I was pretty happy to see that there were plenty of rolls for $6-$7.
The speciality roll I had was delicious, but the regular rolls were just as good. For the price and taste, I don’t think you can beat this sushi spot.

Stopped by for dinner on a weekday and had a great time. It wasn’t too busy on a Monday night, I would say half the tables were full and they had people coming in for takeout.
We ordered a variety of things and they were all beautifully presented. The fish was all fresh. Loved the spicy carpaccio, I believe we got the yellowtail. It was nicely seared and had layers of complex flavours that didn’t overpower the fish.
I love how the hot and sour soup is legit. It has a balance of sour and hotness that gets your appetite going. Definitely recommend getting this as a side.
Highly recommend the Strawberry roll and a negitoro rolls. The cucumber wrapped roll in the below picture was delicious and refreshing.
Sashimi platter was great. Only thing I would change about it is get rid of the white fish and replacing with something higher end like scallops.
Otherwise, overall we had a good time and will come back again.

I have been going here for years, it’s our favorite date spot, but when we went yesterday on Valentine’s Day whoever made my sushi did not take proper cross contamination measures and I’m extremely sick now.
I communicated my gluten allergy thoroughly, but something happened between telling our waitress and the construction of my meal. In the past I’ve been fine here but yesterday was a nightmare.
I am begging the staff to be educated on celiac’s disease, cross contamination, separate gloves and prep areas, etc. Gluten is found in soy sauce, eel sauce, fryers, most kani/fake crab, etc and any contact with any item that’s held gluten is more than enough to ruin someone’s entire week.
All of the sushi I ordered was naturally gluten-free and at no point was I told that it wasn’t possible to accommodate my dietary needs. It’s really disappointing to have inconsistent treatment. In one night, they turned our regular date spot into a place we will probably never go again.

The food was delicious, ingredients are top notch, and the service was quick and friendly. So many choices! We had various sushi rolls, miso soup, appetizer sampler, miso soup, Shrimp Lo Mein, Kung Pao Chicken, and General Tso’s chicken. All delicious. We left with leftovers and happy tummies!

Stopped here for lunch and ordered the Hawaiian rolls and the mango chicken. The Hawaiian rolls were delicious and the mango chicken was a nice mix of sweet and spicy. The customer service was excellent and the food is pretty amazing for the price. Will definitely be dining here again!

Both the food and service are meh. We ordered the Vietnamese rolls, Boston rolls and Hawaiian rolls. Hawaiian rolls were average and we did not enjoy three fact that there was caviar on the Vietnamese ones, despite the fact that it was not listed on the menu. The chicken Satay was relatively bland, but we enjoyed the peanut sauce. Overall, not worth it.

Great specialty rolls and amazing fish quality. The sushi and sashimi here always seems a little bit better than the other local places. Also have great selection when they have it in stock (toro, uni, etc.)
