My family and I were pleasantly surprised by this Dairy Queen. I picked my daughter up today after spending the weekend at her friend’s house in Lagrange. We live over an hour away. Both my kids wanted to stop at DQ for lunch on the way home and this was the closest one. We weren’t quite sure about it when we first pulled up and went inside. This place is TINY. I’ve never seen a DQ so small. But the employees were super friendly, it was well staffed and our food was delicious. We usually get the chicken finger combo with gravy when we go to our local DQ and the gravy is always very watered down and they only fill the cup up like half full. My kids keep commenting on how much better the food was at this location. The gravy was good and thick, everything was hot and the fries were perfectly crisp. My daughter said they were like those perfect fries that you always see on the commercial, not soggy like other locations we’ve been to. My daughter always gets the chocolate extreme blizzard and she said it was so much better at this location. She said, “You can’t even see any vanilla ice cream in this one!”. Which is how it should be if it’s a “chocolate extreme”blizzard. We have had to send her blizzard back at our local DQ because it barely had any chocolate in it. Half the ice cream was still plain vanilla. I got the turtle pecan cluster blizzard and every bite was so good all the way to the bottom. So now my kids said that from now on whenever we get DQ they want to come back to this location.

10/10 totally recommend. Had a pretty big list for an order and in the past at other restaurants, employees would make it out like it was an inconvenience. Not here though they gladly took my order and were quick about putting it together. They were pretty packed in the drive thru when we went in but it didn’t slow them down to work on both what we ordered and the ones in the drive thru orders. And let me tell you the blizzards especially the banana split in a cup were fantastic . Restaurant was very clean, great atmosphere, and amazing employees. And employees were very friendly and nice. Definitely recommend.

If I could give a zero on service , I would! Person that waited on me was rude disrespectful and messed up my order, then had enough nerve to tell another employee that I did not say that! (Referring to my order!) I think I know what I ordered and wanted! I Informed her I had two witnesses. She was then still rude and called a manager (thank God) ! Uncalled for! The restaurant is outdated and needed a remodel years ago! And definitely need employees That know how to treat the public!! Ice cream is always melted

have been through drive thru multiple times recently. Order always correct. Busy every time I go. The employees work as fast as they can. Have seen a couple of horrible reviews that look old and need to be taken down. I have nothing but good comments as busy as they are.!!!!

Came to this location with my grandparents and whoever the girl was that was taking orders and working the window was extremely rude. Very agitated tone straight off the bat and didn’t even tell the total, just aggressively said “pull around”. Got to the window, getting handed items and when we asked for a receipt, instead of asking what was said to be repeated because she didn’t hear, she just turned back to the window and gave a face and said “what.” I get that we have bad days but this was just an overall rude experience that was completely unwarranted. Not friendly at all.

This is a fantastic retro styled Dairy Queen. The double cheeseburger was honestly the best I’ve ever had a Dairy Queen. Everything was fresh and fast, it’s everything I remembered about visiting Dairy Queen as a kid.

Came in at 8:15 pm and it was clearly obvious that either there was no manager or the manager on Duty. Clearly extremely unorganized in the kitchen. Several workers trying to figure out the orders. I had people come in and order after me and they got their food and left. I finally asked about my order and they dug through several to find it. Maybe they couldn’t concentrate on their job with the restaurant sounding like it was a club. I personally didn’t care to be bombarded with loud rap music while I tried to eat. And after speaking with another customer they also expressed their feelings about the situation. I expected more from this establishment.

I was so disappointed in an in-store experience I had today at Dairy Queen. The person who took my order wasn’t too friendly, but I thought maybe they were just super busy so it was all good. I decided to wait inside because I’ve only done the drive-through for the last several years. It was clean, but it just looks like it had this layer of age that they couldn’t quite get rid of. But the nostalgia kept me from really thinking too much of it.
My real issue happened when my order was ready. There was a lot of shouting of the staff back-and-forth to handle orders, and I was reading a book waiting on my food, so I did not realize when the shouting turned into my order number. Instead of one of the staff politely asking me if the order was for me, a boisterous rude customer yelled at me to see if it was my order. Then he made a joke and started heckling me. Instead of stepping in to mitigate anything, the staff just laughed with him at me and made him of me. I was so embarrassed, and after so many years going to Dairy Queen, I didn’t expect this. The adults working indoors were less mature than the teens who work the windows. If this is the way, they honor their customers, it’s not a place I wanna go anymore.

just a regular day going through the drive thru with my 72 yr old grandma that has a speech impediment as i speak to the staff thru the mic they were rude as hell. i was asked “ can the driver speak? “ well obviously not as im speaking. it was very rude i understand they mightve not been able to hear me very well but im also very pregnant climbing over my gma to order. definitely not a way to speak to your customers as i was trying to speak up so they could hear me better. needs better staff

My burgers and blizzards are always delicious. My only con is the DRIVE THRU DIRECTIONS. I loved it when they had the front entrance cut off, and we had to use the back entrance. The line ran more smoothly. Now that it’s back open to drive into the front there are cars blocking the drive thru exit and cars being cut in line. They need to make it MANDATORY to use the back entrance for drive thru ONLY. There is currently a car right at the road because the line is so backed up.
